4. Muntatge
4.1 Instal·lació/substitució de la fulla
- Assegureu-vos que la serra estigui desendollada de la font d'alimentació.
- Locate the blade guard release mechanism (refer to Figure 1).
- Press the spindle lock button to prevent the blade from rotating.
- Using the appropriate wrench, loosen the blade retaining bolt.
- Traieu amb cura la fulla antiga, observant la direcció de rotació.
- Install the new 165mm blade, ensuring the teeth are pointing in the correct cutting direction (usually indicated by an arrow on the blade and saw).
- Tighten the blade retaining bolt securely while holding the spindle lock.
- Release the blade guard.
4.2 Attaching to a Guide Rail (Optional)
The track saw is designed for use with a compatible guide rail (sold separately or included in specific kits) for straight and precise cuts.
- Place the guide rail on your workpiece, aligning it with your desired cut line.
- Place the saw onto the guide rail. The base of the saw should fit snugly into the rail's channel.
- Use the 'Track Fine Adjust' knobs (if present on your model) to eliminate any play between the saw and the rail, ensuring a stable and precise fit.
5. Funcionament
5.1 Engegada/apagada
To turn the saw ON, press and hold the On/Off Button located on the main handle. To turn the saw OFF, release the On/Off Button.
5.2 Ajust de la profunditat de tall

- Loosen the Plunge Lock Button.
- Adjust the saw's base to the desired cutting depth. Refer to the depth scale for accurate measurement.
- Tighten the Plunge Lock Button securely to fix the depth.
5.3 Ajust de l'angle del bisell
- Assegureu-vos que la serra estigui desendollada.
- Loosen the Bevel Lock Knob.
- Tilt the saw base to the desired bevel angle (e.g., 0-45 degrees). Refer to the angle scale for precise setting.
- Tighten the Bevel Lock Knob firmly to secure the angle.
5.4 Making a Plunge Cut
- Ajusteu la profunditat de tall i l'angle de bisell desitjats.
- Position the saw on the workpiece or guide rail, ensuring the blade is clear of the material.
- Start the saw by pressing the On/Off Button.
- Slowly and steadily plunge the blade into the material.
- Once the desired depth is reached, push the saw forward along the cut line.
- After completing the cut, release the On/Off Button and allow the blade to stop completely before lifting the saw.
5.5 Recollida de pols
Connect a suitable vacuum cleaner or dust bag to the Dust Extraction Outlet to minimize sawdust and maintain a clear view of your cut line.
6. Manteniment
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your track saw.
- Neteja: After each use, unplug the saw and clean off any sawdust or debris from the tool, especially around the blade area, motor vents, and adjustment mechanisms. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
- Cura de la fulla: Keep blades sharp and clean. Replace dull or damaged blades immediately to prevent kickback and ensure clean cuts.
- Substitució de raspalls de carbó: Periodically check the carbon brushes through the 'Brush Access' points. Replace both brushes when either is worn down to approximately 1/4 inch (6mm) or if the motor sparks excessively. Always use genuine replacement brushes.
- Inspecció del cable: Inspeccioneu regularment el cable d'alimentació per detectar qualsevol dany. No utilitzeu l'eina si el cable està danyat.
