3. Press each button on the remote control. If the remote is functioning normally, you will see a bright light on your phone's screen (Note: Apple iPhone systems may not show this infrared light).

2. Press and hold the "SET" (or "learning", "setting", "copy") key on the new remote for 3 seconds. Release after the indicator light flashes.
3. Press the key on the new remote you wish to program (e.g., "POWER"). The indicator light will turn on continuously.
4. Press the corresponding function key on the original remote (e.g., "POWER"). The indicator light on the new remote will start to flash.
