4. Controls i pantalla

Familiarize yourself with the multimeter's controls and display elements:

• VA Screen: Pantalla LCD gran per a lectures clares.

5. Configuració

5.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The KJ103 Multimeter requires 2x 1.5V AA batteries (not included). To install or replace batteries:

1. Ensure the multimeter is powered off and disconnect all test leads from the device and any circuits.

3. Use a coin or appropriate tool to open the battery cover.
4. Insert two 1.5V AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

WARNING: To avoid electrical shock, remove test leads from the circuit before opening the battery cover.

5.2. Encès / apagat

Press the Power button to turn the multimeter ON. The display will light up. The device features an Auto Power Off function to conserve battery life.

6. Modes de funcionament

The KJ103 is a smart multimeter with auto-ranging capabilities, simplifying most measurements. For voltage, resistance, continuity, capacitance, and diode tests, you typically do not need to manually select a specific range.

6.1. Automatic Measurement (Voltage, Resistance, Continuity, Diode, Capacitance)

1. Connect the red test lead to the 'INPUT' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.
2. Power on the multimeter. It will automatically enter auto-recognition mode (indicated by 'AUTO APO' on the display).
3. Apply the test probes to the circuit or component you wish to measure. The multimeter will automatically detect the type of measurement (AC/DC Voltage, Resistance, Continuity, Diode, Capacitance) and display the reading.
4. Use the 'FUN' button to cycle between AC and DC voltage if needed, or to switch between resistance, continuity, and diode test results.

6.2. Vol sense contactetage (NCV) Detecció

1. Short press the 'NCV' button to activate NCV mode. The display will show 'EF'.

6.3. Llum LED

6.4. Retenció de dades

During any measurement, short press the 'H' button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press 'H' again to release the hold function.

7. Manteniment

7.1. Neteja

Per netejar el multímetre, netegeu la carcassa amb aiguaamp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents. Ensure the device is powered off and dry before use.

7.2. Substitució de la bateria

When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries as described in the 'Battery Installation' section (5.1). Always use fresh 1.5V AA batteries.

• Resposta lenta: Low battery can affect performance. Replace batteries if necessary.
