6. Configuració

6.1. Inseriu la targeta de memòria

A Class 10 or above high-speed Micro SD card (32GB to 256GB) is highly recommended. Format the card in the dash cam before using it to ensure proper function. Do not pull out or insert the memory card when the driving recorder is turned on to avoid damage.

6.2. Install Dash Cam on Windshield

1. Insert the bracket into the bracket slot on the dash cam.
2. Choose a suitable installation position on your car's windshield that does not obstruct your view.
3. Clean the windshield surface thoroughly with a dry cloth.
4. Press the dash cam firmly onto the windshield to secure it.
5. Ajusteu el viewing angle: The front lens can be adjusted up and down 350° freely. The machine support can be adjusted up and down 45°.

6.3. Connecteu l'alimentació

The DVR is only compatible with cars that have a 12V power supply. A 24V power supply will burn the motherboard. If you want to use 24V, please add a 24V to 12V Converter (KIT).

Method 1: Connect to Car Charger (Standard)

1. Plug the car charger (provided) into the Type-C port on the dash cam.
2. Insert the car charger into your car's cigarette lighter socket. The dash cam will automatically turn on when you start the car and turn off after the engine is off.
3. Route the cable neatly along the top of the front windshield, A-pillar, door frame, and down to the passenger-side glove box to hide it.

Method 2: Connect to Hardwire Kit (Optional, for 24H Parking Monitoring)

A 3-lead hardwire kit (not included) is required for this method. This allows the camera to continue recording while parked. Professional installation is recommended to avoid damage.

1. Connect the 3-lead hardwire kit into the Type-C port on the dash cam.
2. Route the cable along the top of the front windshield, door frame, A-pillar, and down to the car's fuse box.
3. Connect the YELLOW wire to a fuse slot that provides constant power.
4. Connect the RED wire to a fuse slot that only provides power when the key is in the ACC position.
5. Connect the BLACK wire to a grounding screw or bolt.

6.4. Instal·leu la càmera posterior (opcional)

Please check whether the rear camera can work normally before mounting it. If not, contact customer support.

Position 1: Near the License Plate (Supports rear viewing and reverse assist)

1. Plug the rear camera into the AV-IN rear camera port on the main dash cam.
2. Route the rear camera cable along the top of the windshield, door frame, A-pillar, B-pillar, and through the car boot to the license plate area.
3. Choose a suitable mounting position near the license plate and fix the rear camera with the provided screws.
4. Connect the red wire on the rear camera's extension cable to the positive lead of the vehicle's reversing lamp (only if reverse assist is desired).

Position 2: On Rear Windshield (Supports rear view només)

1. Plug the rear camera into the AV-IN rear camera port on the main dash cam.
2. Route the rear camera cable along the top of the windshield, door frame, and all the way to the rear windshield.
3. Choose a mounting position on the rear windshield and use the provided sticky pads to attach the rear camera. Ensure it is placed correctly to prevent an upside-down view.

Note: The rear camera in the package is connected with a 23ft extension cable. If you require a 33ft rear camera cable for larger vehicles, please contact customer support.

6.5. Connect GPS Module (Optional)

The GPS module needs to be purchased separately.

1. Plug the GPS module into the Type-C port on the dash cam.
2. Connect the car charger or hardwire kit to the Type-C port on the GPS module.
3. Fix or hide the GPS module in a location that does not block the driver's view or the camera's field of view.

7. Instruccions de funcionament

7.1. Funcions del botó

• Power Key (①): Long press to switch off. Short press to switch the screen on/off.
• Ascending Key (▲): Take a photo. In menus, browse up.
• Descend Key (▼): Canvia la càmera frontal i posterior view. Long press to turn on/off recording voices. In menus, browse down.
• Menu/Back Key (☰): Enter the function menu. Acts as a "back button" in submenus.
• Botó D'acord: Start/stop recording video. Confirmation key in menus.

• Lock Key (🔒): Lock the current recording video. Unlock video in playback.

7.2. Main Screen Introduction

The main screen displays various indicators during recording:

• Indicador de gravació: Red dot flashes during normal recording. Yellow dot flashes when locked.

7.4. Reproducció a l'ordinador

A view footage on a computer, remove the SD card from the dash cam and insert it into a card reader connected to your PC/MAC. The files will be organized into folders:

• esdeveniment: Contains locked videos (front and rear).
• park: Contains parking monitoring and time-lapse recording videos (front and rear).
• foto: Contains photos (front and rear).
• vídeo: Contains normal/unlocked videos (front and rear).

7.5. Setting Menu Instruction

• Resolució: Change video resolution for the front camera (4K default, 2.5K option).

• Lapse: Set time-lapse duration for Parking Monitoring (Off default, 5 Hours, 12 Hours, 24 Hours options). Requires a 3-lead Hardwire kit.

• Volum: Adjust the volume level of button beeps (Off, Low, Middle, High options).
• Format: Format the inserted SD card.

8. App Control (Viidure App)

The "viidure" app allows you to control your dash cam, view footage, and access advanced features from your smartphone.

8.2. Connecteu-vos a WiFi

1. On the dash cam, navigate to the Setting Menu and turn on WiFi.
2. On your phone, go to WiFi settings, find the WiFi network named "HiDvr_5G_xxxxxx" (where xxxxxx is a unique identifier), and connect to it. The default password is 12345678.
3. Once connected, the WiFi icon on the dash cam screen will turn white.

9. Manteniment

9.1. Gestió de targetes SD

• Always use a high-quality Class 10 Micro SD card (16GB to 256GB).
• Format the SD card regularly (e.g., once a month) through the dash cam's settings to ensure optimal performance and prevent errors.
• Backup any important footage from the SD card to a computer or cloud storage before formatting, as formatting will delete all data.
• Do not remove or insert the SD card while the dash cam is powered on to prevent data corruption or card damage.

9.2. Neteja

• Ensure all protective films are removed from the camera lenses before use.
• Regularly clean the dash cam lenses and your car's windshield to ensure clear video quality. Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a gentle cleaning solution if necessary. Avoid abrasive materials.

9.3. Atenció general

• Ensure all power connections are secure and stable.
• Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can affect its lifespan and performance.

10. Solució De Problemes

10.1. Camera CANNOT turn ON?

• Check the power cord connection to ensure it is fully plugged in.
• Long-press the Power Button to turn it on.
• If it still doesn't turn on, remove the SD card, press the Reset Button (usually a small pinhole on the device), then long-press the Power Button again.

10.2. Videos are fuzzy?

• Ensure all protective films have been removed from the camera lenses.
• Clean the camera lenses and your car's windshield to remove any dirt or grease.
• If the lens is out of focus, contact customer support with a sample video or screenshot.
• Note that wide-angle lenses may cause some image distortion, which is normal and not a malfunction.

10.3. Overexposure while recording videos?

• Check if the camera lens is pointing directly up to the sky. Adjust its angle downwards slightly.
• For the rear camera, it is recommended to install it near the license plate and point it down slightly.

10.4. Camera Freezing, Lagging or Crashing?

• Replace the current SD card with a new, high-quality Class 10 SD card to check if the camera functions normally.
• If the issue persists, remove the SD card, press the Reset Button, then long-press the Power Button to turn it on.

10.5. Camera turns itself ON/OFF frequently?

• Check the power cable connection to ensure it is fully plugged and well connected.
• If the power cable is well connected, remove the SD card, press the Reset Button, then long-press the Power Button to turn it on.

10.6. Earliest video filefalten?

This is a normal function of Loop Recording. When the SD card becomes full, the earliest unlocked video clips are automatically deleted to make room for new recordings. This is not a video missing issue but rather the intended behavior of loop recording.

• Ensure the date and time of the camera are set correctly.
• Format the SD card and record several video clips to verify that all videos are saved properly.

10.7. Videos locked frequently and automatically?

This usually indicates that the G-sensor sensitivity is set too high, causing videos to be locked frequently due to minor vibrations. Locked videos are not overwritten by loop recording, which can quickly fill up the SD card.

• Adjust the G-sensor sensitivity to a lower level in the settings menu.
• If the G-sensor is already set to Low but videos are still locked frequently, try turning the G-sensor OFF or contact customer support for a software update.

10.8. "Card Full" frequently?

• Formateu la targeta SD per eliminar totes les dades.

• Set the record time to enable continuous loop recording.

10.9. "SD Error" or "No SD Card"?

• Ensure you are using the provided SD card or a standard compliant, high-quality Class 10 memory card. Replace if necessary.

• Long press the Power Button to turn the camera off, then re-plug the power cable to the camera. The camera will restart itself. Check if the problem is resolved.
• If you can take snapshots (a shutter sound is heard), but the SD card is not detected, the inserted SD card may be defective. Replace it.

• Go to the Setting Menu and adjust the "Rear Mirror" option.

10.11. Video playback on PC is lagging?

• This may occur when viewing high-bit rate 4K videos on a slower PC. Try setting the camera to a lower resolution and record a video, then check playback.

10.12. Camera doesn't turn off after car off?

• If using the provided car charger and the camera doesn't turn off after the car engine is off, your car's cigarette lighter may not connect with the 12V ACC.
• In this situation, it is recommended to use a hardwire kit for proper power management, or manually unplug the car charger each time you leave your car.

10.13. Camera cannot record video or take photos?

• Ensure you are using the provided or a standard compliant SD card.
• Verify that the SD card is formatted and inserted correctly.

10.14. Suction mount cannot attach on windshield?

• Clean the windshield thoroughly with a glass cleaning wipe.
• Ensure any protective film has been removed from the suction cup.

10.15. Color of the video or photo is not good?

• Try changing the front camera video resolution to 4K in the settings.
