Introducció

This high-precision, compact, and easy-to-use device is designed for a wide range of electrical measurements, including AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode, and continuity testing. It also features Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) detection and Live wire detection for enhanced safety. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and proper operation.

Controls i visualització:

• Power/Function Button (Red): Press and hold for 3 seconds to power on/off. Short press to cycle through functions: Diode, Capacitance, Frequency.

Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The HYTAIS TS20B requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). To install:

1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del multímetre.

The multimeter features a detachable probe design for convenience.

1. The main unit has an integrated test probe.
2. To use the additional black test probe, insert its banana plug into the rear port of the multimeter.

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Encendre/apagar

Press and hold the red Power/Function button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the multimeter on or off.

2. Automatic Measurement Mode (AUTO)

The TS20B features an intelligent AUTO mode that automatically identifies and measures AC/DC voltage, resistance, and continuity. This is the default mode upon power-on.

3. Specific Measurements

In AUTO mode, the multimeter will attempt to detect the measurement type. For specific functions like Diode, Capacitance, and Frequency, short press the red Power/Function button to cycle through them.

DC Voltage Mesura

1. Ensure the multimeter is in AUTO mode or DC Voltagmode e.
2. Connect the integrated probe to the positive (+) side of the circuit/component and the black test probe to the negative (-) side.

Vol. ACtage Mesura

1. Ensure the multimeter is in AUTO mode or AC Voltagmode e.
2. Insert the integrated probe into one terminal and the black test probe into the other terminal of the AC source.

Mesura de Resistència

1. Assegureu-vos que el circuit estigui desenergitzat.
2. Connect the probes across the component to measure its resistance.

Mesura de la capacitat

1. Ensure the capacitor is discharged before testing.
2. Short press the red Power/Function button until the capacitance mode is selected.
3. Connect the probes across the capacitor terminals.

Prova de díodes

1. Short press the red Power/Function button until the diode mode is selected.
2. Connect the integrated probe to the anode and the black test probe to the cathode of the diode.
3. La pantalla mostrarà el volum d'avançtage drop. Reverse the probes to check for open circuit (OL).

Prova de continuïtat

1. Assegureu-vos que el circuit estigui desenergitzat.
2. Connect the probes across the circuit or component.
3. Si hi ha continuïtat (baixa resistència), sonarà el brunzidor.

Mesura de freqüència

1. Short press the red Power/Function button until the frequency mode is selected.
2. Connect the probes to the circuit where frequency needs to be measured.
3. Read the frequency value in Hz on the display.

NCV (vol sense contacte).tage) Detecció

1. Press the NCV/LIVE button to enter NCV mode.
2. Hold the tip of the multimeter near an AC voltage source without making contact.
3. The device will indicate the presence of AC voltage through visual and/or audible alerts.

Detecció de cable en directe

1. Press the NCV/LIVE button until 'LIVE' is indicated on the display.
2. Insert the integrated probe into the suspected live wire terminal of an AC outlet or circuit.
3. The device will indicate the live wire.

4. Retenció de dades

Press the HOLD button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold function.

5. Llanterna

Press and hold the HOLD button for 3 seconds to turn the built-in flashlight on or off.

Manteniment

Neteja

Netegeu el dispositiu amb un drap sec i suau. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius ni dissolvents.

Canvi de bateria

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the AAA batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings. Refer to the 'Battery Installation' section for instructions.

Emmagatzematge

If the multimeter is not used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Resolució de problemes

• No display/Device won't turn on: Comproveu la instal·lació de les piles i assegureu-vos que les piles siguin noves.
• Lectures inexactes: Ensure probes are properly connected and the correct measurement mode is selected. Check battery level.
• No hi ha bip de continuïtat: Ensure the circuit is de-energized and the probes are making good contact.
• NCV not detecting: Ensure NCV mode is active and the device is held close enough to the AC source.
