This manual provides instructions for the JOYING 10.4-inch Android 13 Car DVD Player Head Unit, model JY-HT146N12, designed specifically for Honda CRV CR-V models from 2012 to 2016. This high-end unit features a 2000*1200 2K QLED display, 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage, offering advanced navigation, entertainment, and connectivity options for your vehicle.

3. Instal·lació i configuració

Before installation, ensure your vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified professional.

3.1 Confirm Car Dashboard Type

This head unit is compatible with Honda CRV models from 2012-2016. Please identify your car's dashboard type (A, B, C, or D) to ensure proper wiring harness selection and functionality.

3.2 Connexions de cablejat

Connect only the plugs suitable for your vehicle. Not all connectors on the vehicle's original plugs need to be connected. After connecting, power on the device to check functionality.

Connexions clau:

3.3 Retaining Original Features

The head unit is designed to retain many of your vehicle's original features. Compatibility may vary by dashboard type:

• Control del volant:
  • Dashboards A, B, C: Three "phone buttons" (red circle in image) are non-functional; other SWC buttons work normally.
  • Dashboard D: Steering wheel buttons are fully supported.

• Factory Reverse Camera:
  • Dashboard A: The factory reverse camera will display on the original IMID screen, not the Joying head unit. Rewiring or installing a JOYING AR camera is required for display on the head unit.
  • Dashboards B, C, D: The device supports the factory reverse camera.
• Factory USB:
  • Dashboards A, B, C: Factory USB is not supported.
  • Dashboard D: Factory USB is supported.
• Factory HDMI Port: Dashboard D does not support the factory HDMI port.
• Factory Right View Càmera: Admet.
• Fàbrica Amplifier and Subwoofer: Admet.

Nota important: After installation, this device does not support synchronizing the original car's IMID screen information by default.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Initial Power On and System Overview

Upon first power-on, the unit will boot into the Android 13 operating system. The main interface provides access to navigation, entertainment, and third-party applications.

4.2 Navegació i aplicacions

The unit supports various navigation applications and allows installation of third-party apps from the Google Play Store. Tap the "---" icon to switch to the app's interface. Long press an app icon to manage or switch between applications.

4.3 Connectivitat Bluetooth

The unit features dual-mode Bluetooth, supporting simultaneous connections to two smartphones or a combined link between a phone and an OBD diagnostic dongle. It supports Qualcomm aptX™ HD Audio for lossless sound quality with compatible Android phones.

4.4 CarPlay i Android Auto

The head unit supports both wireless and wired CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration.

4.5 Funcions d'àudio

Experience DTS Sound with a 4-channel, 5532 Op-Amp & TDA7850 Amplifier. The unit includes an AKM 7739 DSP (24-bit ADC & 32-bit DAC) and AKM 4432 DAC (192kHz PCM Input) for high-fidelity sound reproduction. It offers 20 selectable sound effect styles and a 48-band EQ for detailed audio customization.

4.6 Modes de visualització

Switch between Light and Dark modes manually or set for automatic switching based on ambient light conditions.

4.7 Funcions de la càmera

The unit supports switching between front and rear cameras during driving to observe the environment. An optional AR Rear Camera can automatically switch to reverse display when backing up.

4.8 OBD2 Integration

Connect an optional OBD2 dongle via Bluetooth to retrieve real-time data and trouble codes from your vehicle's computer.

6. Manteniment

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your head unit, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Neteja: Feu servir un drap suau i sec per netejar la pantalla i l'exterior. Eviteu productes de neteja abrasius o dissolvents que puguin danyar la pantalla o l'acabat.
• Actualitzacions de programari: Periodically check for and install software updates to ensure the system runs efficiently and has the latest features and security patches.
• Temperatura: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures. While designed for automotive use, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or freezing conditions can affect performance.
• Connexions: Assegureu-vos que tots els cables estiguin connectats correctament. Les connexions soltes poden provocar problemes intermitents.

7. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter issues with your head unit, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Sense energia:
  • Comproveu totes les connexions d'alimentació per assegurar-vos que estiguin ben fixades.
  • Verify the vehicle's fuse related to the head unit.
  • Assegureu-vos que la bateria del vehicle estigui correctament connectada i carregada.
• Sense so:
  • Comproveu les connexions dels altaveus.
  • Verify volume settings on the head unit and any connected devices.
  • Assegureu-vos el amplifier (if external) is powered on and connected correctly.
• La pantalla no respon:
  • Perform a soft reset by pressing and holding the power button until the unit restarts.
  • Assegureu-vos que la pantalla estigui neta i lliure de residus.
• Problemes amb el senyal GPS:
  • Assegureu-vos que l'antena GPS estigui instal·lada correctament i que tingui una línia de visió clara cap al cel.
  • Check GPS settings in the Android system.
• Problemes de connectivitat Bluetooth:
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the head unit and your device.
  • Delete previous pairings and attempt to re-pair the device.
  • Ensure your device is within range.
• Steering Wheel Controls Not Working (Models A, B, C phone buttons):
  • As noted in Section 3.3, the three "phone buttons" on the steering wheel for Dashboards A, B, and C are non-functional. This is expected behavior.
  • For other SWC buttons, ensure proper wiring and configuration in the system settings.
• Factory Reverse Camera Not Displaying (Dashboard A):
  • As noted in Section 3.3, for Dashboard A, the factory reverse camera displays on the original IMID screen. To display on the Joying head unit, rewiring or installing a JOYING AR camera is required.

8. Garantia i Suport

All JOYING head units are tested thoroughly before shipping and come with a 24-month manufacturer warranty. The warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper installation, accidents, misuse, abuse, incorrect wiring, or operating the unit outside the specified voltage or against the instructions in this manual.

For warranty claims or technical support, please contact your retailer or JOYING customer service. If a product issue arises within one month of purchase, a replacement unit may be provided, with the buyer responsible for return shipping fees. After one month, free repair services are available, with the buyer responsible for return shipping fees. After one year, free repair services are still available, but the buyer is responsible for two-way shipping fees.
