5.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the protractor.
2. Open the battery cover. For some models, this may require unscrewing small screws.

6. Funcionament

6.1 Encès/Apagat

• Premeu el botó ON/OFF button briefly to turn the device on or off.

6.2 Absolute Measurement

When the device is powered on, it defaults to absolute measurement mode, displaying the angle relative to the true horizontal plane.

6.3 Relative Measurement (ZERO Function)

• Place the protractor on a reference surface.
• Premeu el botó ZERO button briefly. The display will show "0.00", indicating that this surface is now set as the new reference for relative measurements.
• Move the protractor to the surface you wish to measure. The display will show the angle relative to your set zero point.

The protractor can display angles for both X and Y axes simultaneously when in dual-axis mode. The display will show X:±XX.XX and Y:±YY.YY, along with a bubble level graphic.

• Cura de la bateria: If the product will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
• Manipulació: This is a precision instrument. Avoid dropping, colliding, or striking the device, as this can affect its accuracy and cause physical damage.
• Condicions ambientals: Do not use or store the device in environments with excessive moisture or direct exposure to water (unless it is an IP65 rated model like 5515-90FS).

• Lectures inexactes: If you suspect the accuracy is compromised, try recalibrating by performing a ZERO operation on a known level surface. Ensure the device is not exposed to strong magnetic fields or extreme temperatures. If issues persist, contact customer support.
• La pantalla no funciona: Comproveu si les piles estan correctament instal·lades i tenen prou càrrega. Canvieu les piles si cal.
• Botons que no responen: Ensure the device is not in a 'HOLD' state if you are trying to change modes. If buttons remain unresponsive after a battery change, contact support.
• Automatic Shut-off Too Soon: The device is designed to shut off after 3 minutes of inactivity to save power. This is normal behavior.
