1. Introducció

The LILYGO Meshtastic T-Deck Plus is a versatile development module integrating an ESP32-S3 microcontroller, GPS, LoRaWAN communication, and an LCD display with a full QWERTY keyboard. Designed for Meshtastic firmware, it enables off-grid communication and location tracking. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your T-Deck Plus.

5. Configuració

5.1. Configuració inicial del maquinari

  1. Attach Antenna (External Antenna Versions Only): Carefully screw the provided LoRa antenna onto the SMA connector located on the device. Ensure it is finger-tight to avoid damage.
  2. Encès: Locate the power button (refer to Figure 4.2 for exact location) and press it to turn on the device.
  3. Càrrega: Connect the device to a 5V USB power source using a USB-C cable to charge the internal 2000mAh battery. The BAT ADC pin (I004) is used for battery level detection.

5.2. Software Setup (Meshtastic Firmware)

The T-Deck Plus is pre-flashed with Meshtastic firmware. For advanced configuration or firmware updates, you will need to connect the device to a computer.

6.2. Meshtastic Functionality

With Meshtastic firmware, the T-Deck Plus acts as a node in a mesh network. Key functions include:

  • Sending/Receiving Messages: Type messages using the keyboard and send them over the LoRa network.
  • Seguiment GPS: The integrated GPS module provides location data, which can be shared with other nodes in the mesh.
  • Node Discovery: Discover and connect to other Meshtastic devices within range.
  • Configuració: Access device settings via the LCD menu to adjust LoRa frequencies, power settings, and other parameters.

7. Manteniment
