4. Configuració inicial

4.1. Càrrega del dispositiu

Before first use, fully charge the OS1 using the provided USB Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the Type-C charging port (No. 10) on the device and to a standard USB power adapter (not included).

4.2. Connexió dels cables de prova

For multimeter functions, connect the black test lead to the COM socket (No. 8) and the red test lead to the INPUT socket (No. 7).

For oscilloscope functions, connect the black test lead to the COM socket (No. 8) and the red test lead to the OSC socket (No. 9).

Caution: Always ensure correct polarity and secure connections before taking measurements. Pay attention to positive and negative poles when measuring and avoid contact with metal parts.

5. Modes de funcionament

The OS1 features two primary operating modes: Multimeter and Oscilloscope. Switch between modes by short pressing the MODE button (No. 1).

5.1. Funcions del multímetre

In multimeter mode, the device can measure various electrical parameters with high precision (6000 counts) and true RMS display. Use the FUNCTION WHEEL (No. 5) to select the desired measurement type.

  • Volum AC / DCtage Mesura: Connect probes to INPUT and COM. Select AC V or DC V using the function wheel. The device supports auto-ranging.
  • Mesura de la resistència: Connect probes to INPUT and COM. Select Resistance (Ω) mode.
  • Mesura de la capacitat: Connect probes to INPUT and COM. Select Capacitance (F) mode.
  • Mesura de díodes: Connect probes to INPUT and COM. Select Diode mode. When the test leads touch both ends of a diode, the LED beads can light up.
  • Prova de continuïtat: Connect probes to INPUT and COM. Select Continuity mode. An audible beep indicates continuity (< 50Ω).
  • Mesura de corrent AC/DC: The device supports AC and DC current measurement from 0-10A.
  • Electric Pen Mode: The device supports both induction and contact electric pen modes for quick voltage detecció.

Press the AUTO button (No. 3) to display maximum, minimum, and average values for the current measurement.

6. Manteniment

6.1. Atenció general

  • Mantingueu el dispositiu net i sec. Netegeu l'exterior amb un drap suau i sec.amp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents.
  • The device is wrapped in a protective silicone shell, enhancing comfort and providing shock absorption. While durable, avoid dropping it from excessive heights.
  • Store the device in its provided storage bag when not in use to protect it from dust and physical damage.

6.2. Informació de la bateria

The OS1 is powered by a 1200mAh Lithium battery. Recharge the device when the low battery indicator appears on the screen. Use only the provided USB Type-C cable for charging.

7. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter issues with your BSIDE OS1, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • El dispositiu no s'encén:
    • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB Type-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes.
    • Press and hold the MODE button (No. 1) for a few seconds to power on.
  • Inaccurate Multimeter Readings:
    • Check that the test leads are securely connected to the correct input jacks (INPUT and COM).
    • Ensure the correct measurement mode is selected using the FUNCTION WHEEL.
    • Verify that the probes are making good contact with the circuit points being measured.
    • The device has CAT III 600V overvoltage protection; however, ensure measurements are within the specified ranges.
  • No Waveform Display in Oscilloscope Mode:
    • Ensure the device is in Oscilloscope mode (short press MODE button).
    • Verify that the red probe is connected to the OSC socket (No. 9) and the black probe to COM (No. 8).
    • Check the input signal source. The signal might be too weak or outside the device's measurement range.
    • Adjust the vertical sensitivity (mV/div) and horizontal time base (s/div) settings using the FUNCTION WHEEL to properly scale the waveform.
    • Try adjusting the trigger settings (mode and edge) if the waveform is unstable.
  • La pantalla no respon o s'ha bloquejat:
    • Perform a soft reset by long pressing the MODE button to power off, then power on again.
  • Cannot save screenshots:
    • Ensure you are long pressing the SAVE button (No. 2).
    • Check if the internal storage for screenshots is full. You may need to export existing images via USB to clear space.
