3. Configuració

3.1 Desembalatge

Carefully unpack the RFID reader and inspect for any signs of damage. Ensure all components are present.

3.2 Muntatge

The reader is designed for industrial mounting. Refer to the dimensional drawings (Figures 1 and 2) for precise measurements and mounting hole locations. The robust IP67 protection class ensures suitability for harsh industrial environments.

3.3 Cablejat i connexions

The reader requires a DC24V power supply and communicates via RS485 using an M12 female harness. Ensure correct polarity and secure connections.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Encès

Once properly wired, apply DC24V power to the reader. The orange LED indicator will illuminate to show the device is powered on and operational.

4.2 Tag Lectura

Position an ISO 15693 or ISO 14443A compliant electronic tag within the reading distance of the reader (0-80mm for VI-IRQ30-HF, 0-60mm for VI-IRB30-HF). The reader will automatically detect and read the tag's data.

Utilize the provided API development package and application routines (C, C#, Java) to integrate the reader with your specific application software. The communication rate can be configured between 9600 and 115200bps via serial communication.

5. Manteniment
