The Blacksmith DL0102 Smart Lock is designed for easy setup without drilling for most standard doors. Please follow these steps carefully:

5.1 Prepare Your Door

• Ensure your door thickness is between 35mm (1-3/8'') and 55mm (2-3/16'').
• Verify the existing door hole diameter is 2-1/8" (54mm) and the latch hole diameter is 3/4" (19mm).
• Check the backset (distance from door edge to center of bore hole) is either 2-3/8" or 2-3/4".
• Determine your door's opening direction (left or right-handed) as the handle is reversible.

5.2 Install the Latch

1. Insert the latch into the door edge hole. Ensure the 'UP' indicator on the latch is facing upwards.
2. Secure the latch with the provided screws.
