Introducció
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Veise VE017 Fingerprint Smart Door Lock. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety. The Veise VE017 offers advanced security and convenience with multiple access methods including fingerprint, PIN code, key fobs, and traditional keys, all manageable via a smart app.

Important Notes for Installation:
- It is strongly recommended to keep the door open or ajar during installation.
- Do not close the door before inserting the batteries.
- Do not insert the batteries until the lock is fully installed.
Step 1: Measure the Dimensions
Abans de la compraasing and installing, ensure your door dimensions are compatible with the lock. Measure the hole spacing and door thickness.
- Part posterior: 2-3/8" o 2-3/4" (60 mm o 70 mm)
- Diàmetre del forat: 1-1/2" a 2-1/8" (38 mm a 54 mm)
- Gruix de la porta: 1-3/8" or 2" (35mm or 50mm). Door thickness out of spec may prevent lock operation.
- Latch Hole Depth: 1" (25mm). Ensure the door frame is aligned with the door. Verify there are no obstructions in the door frame. The hole in the door frame must be drilled to a minimum depth of 1" (25 mm).

Install the latch into the door edge. Ensure the "up" marking on the latch is correctly oriented. Confirm the type of hole in the edge of the door frame.
Important:
The latch bolt should be fully retracted (in the unlocked position) before proceeding.
For doors with 1-1/2" (38mm) holes, temporarily install the Latch bolt to test if it fits properly. If the Latch bolt is stuck, you need to extend the Latch hole by at least 13/64" (5mm) deep using a 1" (25.4mm) Drill Bit.

Route the cable below the latch and insert the torque blade through the slot in the latch. Install the mounting plate, ensuring it is parallel to the door edge and screws are not overtightened.
Pas 4: instal·leu el conjunt interior
Disassemble the battery cover. Insert the cable connector into the socket, pushing firmly until fully seated. Align the torque blade with the knob hole, ensuring the knob holes are parallel. Attach the interior assembly to the mounting plate and tighten the 3 screws. Finally, insert 4 AA Alkaline batteries.
Important:
Do not install the batteries until the lock is fully installed. Be sure not to use the wrong screws, or it may lead to short-circuit and other problems.
Step 5: Reset the Lock
Using the reset tool, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until you hear "Restored to factory settings" and a "BEEP". This indicates a successful reset, and the latch will extend automatically. After the reset, the lock automatically recognizes the left and right doors. Attach the battery cover.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Veise VE017 Smart Door Lock, follow these maintenance guidelines:

Resolució de problemes
If you encounter issues with your Veise VE017 Smart Door Lock, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

- Ensure the battery cover is securely attached and the cable connector is fully seated.
- Perform a factory reset (refer to Step 5 in the Installation Guide).

- Ensure the latch hole in the door frame is deep enough and free of obstructions (refer to Step 1 and 2 of Installation).
- Check if the torque blade is correctly aligned with the knob hole (refer to Step 4 of Installation).
