1. Introducció
Welcome to the classic Operation Electronic Board Game by Hasbro Gaming. This manual provides essential information for setting up, playing, maintaining, and troubleshooting your game. The objective of Operation is to carefully remove "ailments" from Cavity Sam without touching the metal edges, which would trigger the buzzer and light up Sam's nose.

2. Components
Abans de començar, assegureu-vos que hi hagi tots els components:
- Gameboard with "Cavity Sam" patient and attached tweezers
- 26 Cards (Doctor and Specialist cards)
- 12 Funatomy parts (ailments)
- Play money
- Rubber band (for securing parts)
- Manual d'instruccions (aquest document)

3. Configuració
- Instal·lació de la bateria: The game requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the game board. Using a screwdriver, open the compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the compartment securely.
- Place Funatomy Parts: Carefully place each of the 12 Funatomy parts into their corresponding cavities on Cavity Sam's body. Ensure they rest without touching the metal edges.
- Preparar les targetes: Shuffle the Doctor cards and place them face down in a draw pile.
- Distribuir diners: Each player receives a starting amount of play money (e.g., $500). The remaining money forms the bank.
- Tweezers Placement: Ensure the red tweezers are connected to the game board and are easily accessible.

4. Operating Instructions and Gameplay
4.1. Objectiu
The goal is to be the player with the most money at the end of the game by successfully removing Funatomy parts without triggering the buzzer.
4.2. Com jugar
- Torn del jugador: El jugador més jove comença. El joc continua en sentit horari.
- Draw a Card: On your turn, draw the top Doctor card from the pile. This card will indicate which Funatomy part you need to remove and the amount of money you earn if successful.
- Perform Surgery: Using the tweezers, carefully attempt to remove the specified Funatomy part from Cavity Sam's body.

- Successful Removal: If you remove the part without touching the metal edges (no buzzer sound, no nose light), you keep the Doctor card and collect the indicated amount of money from the bank. Place the removed Funatomy part aside.
- Unsuccessful Attempt (Buzzer): If the tweezers touch the metal edge of the cavity, the buzzer will sound, and Cavity Sam's nose will light up.

When the buzzer sounds, your turn ends. You do not collect money for that turn. The Funatomy part is returned to its cavity. The next player draws a new Doctor card.
- Specialist Cards: Some Doctor cards may instruct you to draw a Specialist card. These cards may have special rules or higher payouts for specific ailments. Follow the instructions on the Specialist card.
4.3. Ending the Game
The game ends when all 12 Funatomy parts have been successfully removed from Cavity Sam. Players then count their money. The player with the most money wins the game.
5. Manteniment
- Neteja: Wipe the game board and plastic parts with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the game in water.
- Emmagatzematge: Guardeu tots els components del joc a la caixa original en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa.
- Cura de la bateria: Traieu les piles si no fareu servir el joc durant un període prolongat per evitar fuites.
