Configuració i primer ús

Abans d'utilitzar la cafetera per primera vegada, seguiu aquests passos:

1. Desembalar: Remove all packaging materials and labels from the coffee maker.
2. Neteja: Wash the thermal jug, lid, and filter holder in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp tela.
3. Posició: Col·loqueu la cafetera sobre una superfície estable, plana i resistent a la calor, allunyada de fonts d'aigua i de calor.
4. Primer cicle d'esbandida: Fill the water reservoir with fresh cold water up to the '10 cup' mark. Do not add coffee. Place the empty thermal jug with its lid on the heating base. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet and switch it on. Allow the full cycle to complete. Discard the water. This cleans the internal components and removes any manufacturing residues.

Elaboració de cafè

1. Omplir aigua: Open the lid of the water reservoir and fill it with fresh, cold water to the desired level, using the water level indicator. The maximum capacity is 1.25 liters (approximately 10 cups).
2. Afegiu cafè: Insert a permanent filter or a disposable paper filter (size 1x4) into the filter holder. Add the desired amount of ground coffee. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of ground coffee per cup (150ml).
3. Position Jug: Place the thermal jug with its lid securely on the heating base. Ensure the lid is properly closed to maintain coffee temperature.
4. Comença a fer cervesa: Plug the coffee maker into a power outlet. Press the On/Off switch. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the brewing process has started.
5. Servei: Once the brewing cycle is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch off. The thermal jug will keep the coffee warm. Carefully remove the jug to pour.

Neteja diària

• Desconnecteu sempre la cafetera abans de netejar-la.
• Wash the thermal jug, lid, and filter holder after each use with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts may also be dishwasher safe (check product markings).

Descalcificació

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance and coffee taste. Descale your appliance regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use.

• Use a commercially available descaling solution suitable for coffee makers, following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Alternativament, es pot utilitzar una solució de vinagre blanc i aigua (proporció 1:2).
• Run the descaling solution through a full brewing cycle.
• After descaling, run at least two full cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse out any descaling residue.
