Introducció

The MXR M80 Bass D.I.+ is a robust and versatile preamp pedal engineered to provide bass players with a wide array of tonal possibilities for both live performances and studio recording. It features independent clean and distortion channels, a 3-band EQ, a noise gate, and multiple output options, making it an essential tool for any bassist.

Configuració

Before connecting the MXR Bass D.I.+, ensure all audio equipment is turned off to prevent damage. The pedal can be powered by a 9V battery or an external 9V DC power supply (not included).

• Bateria: Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the pedal and connect a 9V battery.

Clean Channel Controls

• VOLUM NET: Adjusts the overall output level of the clean channel.
• COLOR: Engages a preset EQ contour for a modern, scooped sound. This button illuminates when active.

Distortion Channel Controls

• VOLUM: Controls the output level of the distortion channel.
• BARREJA: Mixes the distorted signal with the clean signal. Turn clockwise for more distortion, counter-clockwise for more clean tone.
• DISPARADOR: Sets the threshold for the built-in noise gate. Higher settings require a stronger input signal to open the gate.
• GUANY: Adjusts the amount of distortion applied to the signal.

Secció EQ

Switches and Footswitches

• PHANTOM/GROUND: This switch controls the ground lift for the XLR output and enables phantom power operation. Set to 'Ground' to lift the ground and eliminate hum.
• PORTA: Activates or deactivates the noise gate. The LED illuminates when the gate is active.
• EFFECT Footswitch: Toggles the entire effect (clean channel with EQ) on/off. The red LED indicates the effect is active.
• DISTORTION Footswitch: Engages or disengages the distortion channel. The red LED indicates distortion is active.

Manteniment

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your MXR Bass D.I.+, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Neteja: Feu servir un drap suau i sec per netejar l'exterior del pedal. Eviteu productes de neteja o dissolvents abrasius.

• Substitució de la bateria: If using battery power, replace the 9V battery when the pedal's performance degrades or the indicator LEDs dim. Disconnect the input cable when not in use to conserve battery life.
• Connexions: Periodically check all cables and connections for wear and tear. Ensure jacks are free of dust and debris.

If you encounter issues with your MXR Bass D.I.+, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
