Configuració

Before first use, follow these steps to prepare your KRUPS XP1500.

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove all packaging materials and components from the box. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Neteja inicial: Wash the coffee carafe, espresso carafe, filter holder, and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp tela.
3. First Brew Cycle (Coffee Side):
   • Fill the coffee water reservoir with cold, fresh water up to the 10-cup mark.
   • Place the empty coffee carafe on the warming plate.
   • Ensure the swing-out filter holder is in place (without coffee grounds or filter).
   • Plug in the machine and turn the control dial to the "CAFFE" position.
   • Allow the full cycle to complete. Discard the water.
4. First Brew Cycle (Espresso Side):
   • Fill the espresso water reservoir with cold, fresh water up to the 4-cup mark.
   • Place the empty espresso carafe under the espresso spout.
   • Ensure the espresso filter holder is securely attached (without coffee grounds).
   • Turn the control dial to the "ESPRESSO" position.
   • Allow the full cycle to complete. Discard the water.
5. Your KRUPS XP1500 is now ready for use.

Instruccions de funcionament

Brewing Drip Coffee:

1. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Open the lid of the coffee water reservoir and fill with desired amount of cold, fresh water. The water level indicator will guide you.
2. Afegeix el marc de cafè: Swing out the filter holder. Place a paper filter (if desired) or use the reusable filter. Add your preferred amount of ground coffee (approximately 1 scoop per cup). Close the filter holder securely.
3. Col·loca la garrafa: Ensure the 10-cup glass carafe is correctly positioned on the warming plate.
4. Comença a fer cervesa: Plug in the machine. Turn the control dial to the "CAFFE" position. The illuminated switch will light up, indicating brewing has started.
5. Servir: Once brewing is complete, the machine will keep the coffee warm. You can remove the carafe at any time during brewing using the "brew pause" feature.
