2. Configuració

The watch features a crown on the side for adjusting settings. Proper manipulation of the crown is essential to avoid damage to the movement.

1. Configuració del dia de la setmana: Pull the crown out to its outermost position. Rotate the crown clockwise. The day of the week will advance. Continue rotating until the correct day is displayed. This may require rotating through several days to reach the desired setting.
2. Configuració de la data: Gently push the crown in slightly from its outermost position, so there is a small gap between the crown and the watch case. In this intermediate position, rotate the crown to adjust the date.
3. Configuració de l'hora: With the crown still in the outermost position (as for setting the day), rotate it to set the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Ensure AM/PM is correctly set by observing if the date changes when passing midnight.

After setting, always push the crown fully back into its normal position against the watch case to ensure water resistance and proper operation. If storing the watch for an extended period and wishing to conserve battery life, pull the crown out to the outermost position.

Indiglo Night-Light Feature:

The Timex Easy Reader features an Indiglo night-light. To activate the Indiglo, press and hold the crown. The entire watch dial will illuminate, allowing for easy time reading in dark environments. Release the crown to turn off the light.
