Introducció
This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your NEC NP2000 XGA 4000-Lumen Projector. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the projector to ensure proper and safe operation.
1. Configuració
1.1 Desembalatge i comprovació de components
Traieu amb cura el projector i tots els accessoris de l'embalatge. Verifiqueu que hi hagi tots els components:
- NEC NP2000 Projector
- Cable d'alimentació
- Control remot
- Cable VGA
- Manual d'usuari (aquest document)
1.2 Col·locació del projector
Place the projector on a stable, level surface or mount it securely to a ceiling. Ensure adequate ventilation around the projector to prevent overheating. Maintain a clear line of sight to the projection screen.
1.3 Connexió de potència
Connect the power cord to the projector's power input and then to a grounded electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.
1.4 Connexió de fonts de vídeo
The NP2000 offers various input options:
- VGA (HD DB-15): Connecteu l'ordinador amb un cable VGA.
- DVI-D: For digital video input from compatible devices.

2. Instruccions de funcionament
2.1 Engegada/apagada
- Per encendre: Press the power button on the projector's control panel or the remote control. The lamp will warm up, and the image will appear shortly.
- Per apagar: Press the power button twice. The projector will enter a cooling cycle before shutting down completely. Do not unplug the projector during the cooling cycle.
2.2 Selecció de la font d'entrada
Press the 'Input' or 'Source' button on the projector or remote control to cycle through available input sources (VGA, DVI-D, Video, S-Video, Component, BNC). Select the input corresponding to your connected device.
2.3 Ajust de la imatge
- Focus: Gireu l'anell d'enfocament de la lent del projector fins que la imatge sigui nítida i clara.
- Zoom: Ajusteu l'anell de zoom de la lent del projector per canviar la mida de la imatge.
- Correcció Keystone: Use the 'Keystone' buttons on the control panel or remote to correct trapezoidal distortion if the projector is not perfectly perpendicular to the screen.
- Navegació del menú: Use the 'Menu' button to access settings for brightness, contrast, color, aspect ratio, and other advanced options. Navigate using arrow buttons and confirm with 'Enter'.
2.4 Lamp Modes
The projector offers different lamp modes to optimize brightness and lamp vida:
- Mode normal: Provides maximum brightness (4000 Lumens) for well-lit environments. Lamp life is approximately 2000 hours.
- Mode econòmic: Reduces brightness slightly to extend lamp life (approximately 3000 hours) and conserve energy. Suitable for darker environments.

3. Manteniment
3.1 Lamp Substitució
El lamp life is approximately 2000 hours in Normal mode and 3000 hours in Economy mode. When the lamp indicator illuminates or the image becomes dim, replace the lamp. Consulteu la informació detalladaamp replacement procedure in the full service manual or consult a qualified technician.
- Power off the projector and unplug the power cord.
- Allow the projector to cool completely (at least 60 minutes).
- Localitza la lamp cover (usually on the top or side) and remove the securing screw(s).
- Traieu amb cura l'antiga lamp mòdul.
- Inseriu la nova lamp mòdul, assegurant-vos que estigui ben col·locat.
- Substituïu la lamp cover and secure the screw(s).
- Restableix la lamp timer through the projector's menu.
3.2 Neteja/substitució del filtre d'aire
Regularly clean the air filter to maintain optimal cooling and prevent dust buildup. The filter should be cleaned every 100 hours of operation or when prompted by the projector.
- Apagueu i desconnecteu el projector.
- Localitzeu la coberta del filtre d'aire.
- Remove the filter and clean it with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. If heavily soiled or damaged, replace it with a new filter.
- Torneu a instal·lar el filtre i la tapa.
3.3 Neteja general
Netegeu l'exterior del projector amb un drap suau i sec. Per a marques difícils, utilitzeu un drap lleugerament sec.amp cloth with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the projector. Clean the lens with a lens cleaning cloth and solution designed for optical surfaces.
