4.1 Ignition Procedure
- Ensure the propane cylinder is correctly installed and the gas supply is open.
- Locate the control knob and the Piezo igniter button on the heater's body.
- Push and turn the control knob to the 'PILOT' position. Hold it down for 30-60 seconds to purge air from the gas lines.
- While still holding the control knob down, press the Piezo igniter button repeatedly until the pilot flame ignites. You may need to listen for a click and observe the pilot light through the viewforat.
- Once the pilot is lit, continue to hold the control knob down for another 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up. Release the knob slowly. If the pilot extinguishes, repeat steps 3-5.
- After the pilot is stable, turn the control knob to the desired heat setting (LOW to HIGH). The main burner will ignite.
