2. Instruccions de seguretat
- Seguretat elèctrica: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national wiring regulations and local electrical codes. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before any installation or maintenance work.
- Voltage: This floodlight operates on 230 Volts. Verify your power supply matches this requirement.
- Calor: Halogen bulbs generate significant heat. Do not touch the floodlight or bulb immediately after use. Ensure adequate clearance from flammable materials.
- Classificació IP44: The floodlight is rated IP44, meaning it is protected against solid objects larger than 1mm and splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor use but should not be submerged in water.

4. Instal·lació i configuració
Eines necessàries: Drill, screwdriver, wire strippers, voltage provador.
- Desconnexió d'alimentació: Abans de començar, assegureu-vos que l'alimentació principal de la zona d'instal·lació estigui desconnectada a l'interruptor.
- Lloc de muntatge: Choose a suitable outdoor location for wall mounting. Consider the desired detection area for the sensor. The floodlight should be mounted securely.
- Muntatge del suport: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs.
- Cablejat: Connect the electrical wires (Live, Neutral, Earth) from your power supply to the corresponding terminals within the floodlight's wiring compartment. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly insulated. Refer to the wiring diagram inside the unit if available.
- Attaching the Floodlight: Secure the floodlight unit to the mounting bracket.

5. Funcionament
The Steinel HS502 operates automatically once power is supplied and settings are configured. The integrated motion sensor detects movement within its adjustable range and activates the floodlight for a set duration.
Sensor Adjustments:
The sensor features a Steinel Duo sensor and a multilingual lens, allowing for precise configuration. Adjustments are typically made via control dials located on the sensor unit.
- Interval de detecció: The sensor has a maximum range of up to 12 meters. It can be limited to approximately 5 meters for smaller areas.
- Angle de detecció: The sensor offers a 180° detection angle with a 90° opening angle.
- Sensor Head Adjustment: The sensor head can be adjusted vertically by 40° and horizontally by 30° to fine-tune the detection area.
- Time Setting (Light ON Duration): This dial controls how long the floodlight remains illuminated after motion is detected. The adjustable range is from 10 seconds to 15 minutes.
- Twilight Setting (Lux Level): This dial determines the ambient light level at which the sensor becomes active. For example, setting it to a low lux value means the light will only activate in near darkness, while a higher lux value will allow it to activate in brighter conditions.
Experiment with these settings to achieve the desired performance for your specific environment.
6. Manteniment
- Neteja: Periodically clean the floodlight housing and sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure power is disconnected before cleaning.
