1. Instruccions de seguretat importants

3. Configuració

2. Muntar: Place the shredder head securely onto the provided waste basket. Ensure it is seated correctly to activate the safety interlock.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

• AUTOMÀTIC: The shredder will automatically start when paper or a credit card is inserted and stop when shredding is complete. This is the normal operating mode.
• DESACTIVAT: The shredder is powered off. Always select this mode when emptying the basket or when the shredder is not in use.
• REV (Marxa enrere): The shredder blades will operate in reverse. This is used to clear paper jams.

Paper triturador:

2. Insert up to 8 sheets of standard 20 lb bond paper straight into the paper entry slot. Do not exceed the maximum sheet capacity to prevent jams and motor strain.

Overload and Overheat Protection:

• Sobrecàrrega: If too many sheets are inserted, the shredder may stop. Use the REV function to clear the jam, then reduce the number of sheets.
• Sobrecalentament: For continuous shredding, the motor may overheat. If this occurs, the shredder will automatically shut off. Allow the unit to cool down for approximately 30 minutes before resuming operation. A 'READY' indicator light may be present to show operational status.

Emptying the Waste Basket:

Comproveu regularment el viewing window and empty the waste basket before it becomes full to prevent paper jams and ensure optimal performance. Always set the control switch to OFF and unplug the shredder before emptying.

Lubricació:

For cross-cut shredders, regular lubrication is essential to maintain blade performance and extend the life of the unit. Apply shredder oil or use shredder lubricating sheets after every 30 minutes of accumulated shredding or at least twice a month. Follow the instructions provided with your shredder oil or sheets.

Neteja:
