4. Configuració
4.1 Blade Adjustment
The planer blades are not finely adjusted during manufacturing. It is crucial to check and adjust the blade protrusion before initial use to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Set the main dial on the planer to '0'.
- Verify that the blade does not protrude from the base plate when the dial is at '0'. Use a straight edge or ruler to check. If the blade protrudes or is recessed, adjustment is necessary.
- To adjust, use the provided box wrench to loosen the bolts securing the planer blade.
- Remove the blade and its set plate.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screws on the set plate to adjust the blade's protrusion.
- Reinstall the blade and set plate, ensuring the blade is flush with the base plate when the dial is at '0'. Tighten the bolts securely.
- Repeat the process for the blade on the opposite side (180 degrees rotation).
