Configuració i instal·lació

Eines necessàries:

• Level (built-in on thermostat for convenience)

Llista de verificació prèvia a la instal·lació:

1. Apagar: Disconnect power to your heating and cooling system at the main fuse or circuit breaker.
2. Elimina el termòstat antic: Carefully remove the cover of your old thermostat. Take a picture of the wiring connections for reference.
3. Etiqueta els cables: Label each wire with the terminal designation from your old thermostat (e.g., R, G, Y, W).

1. Separate Base: Gently pull the front of the new thermostat from its base.

Connexions de cablejat:

Refer to the wiring diagram specific to your HVAC system type. Connect the labeled wires to the corresponding terminals on the new thermostat base. Ensure all connections are secure.

• R/Rc/Rh: 24V AC power (often red wire).
• C: Common wire (provides continuous 24V power, often blue or black).
• S/S1: Heat call (often white wire).
• A/A1: Cool call (often yellow wire).
• G: Fan call (often green wire).
• O/B: Reversing valve for heat pumps.
• Aux/E: Auxiliary/Emergency heat for heat pumps.

Nota:

• The 1F83C-11NP is for conventional systems (1 Heat/1 Cool).
• The 1F83H-21PR is for heat pump systems (2 Heat/1 Cool with Aux/E).
• If your old thermostat had a 'C' wire, connect it. If not, the thermostat will operate on battery power, but the backlight may not stay on continuously.

Insert two fresh AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the thermostat faceplate. Ensure correct polarity.

Attach Thermostat Faceplate:

Align the faceplate with the mounted base and gently push until it snaps securely into place.

Basic Operation (Both Models):

Manteniment

Substitució de la bateria:

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the two AA alkaline batteries immediately. Failure to do so may result in the thermostat losing power and your HVAC system becoming inoperable.

1. Gently pull the thermostat faceplate from its base.
