2. Remove the Bottom Plate: Locate and remove the screws holding the bottom plate (also known as the sole plate or brush plate) in place. Carefully lift off the plate.
3. Remove the Brush Roll: Gently lift out the brush roll. The old belt, if still present, will likely be around the brush roll and motor shaft.
