1. Introducció

The MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay Pedal (Model M169) delivers a rich, all-analog delay experience. 2. Configuració

Follow these steps to properly set up your MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay Pedal:

1. Connexió d'alimentació: The pedal can be powered by a single 9-volt battery or a Dunlop ECB003 AC Adapter (not included). Connect the power supply to the 9V DC jack located on the side of the pedal.
2. Connexió d'entrada: Connect your guitar or the output of another effect pedal to the 1/4-inch INPUT jack on the right side of the pedal.
3. Connexió de sortida: Connect the 1/4-inch OUTPUT jack on the left side of the pedal to your amplifier or the input of another effect pedal.

3. Controls de funcionament

The MXR Carbon Copy features a straightforward control layout for easy tone shaping:

• DELAY Knob: Controls the delay time, ranging from 20ms to 600ms.
• Botó MIX: Adjusts the blend of the dry signal with the delayed signal. Turn clockwise for more effect.
• REGEN Knob: Sets the number of repeats (feedback) for the delayed signal.
• Interruptor MOD: Engages or disengages the modulation effect on the repeats.
• EFFECT Footswitch: Toggles the pedal effect on/off. The blue LED indicates when the effect is active.

4. Modulation Features

The Carbon Copy includes optional modulation to add texture to your delay repeats. This feature can be activated via the MOD switch on the pedal's face. For finer control over the modulation, two internal trim pots are accessible by removing the pedal's bottom plate:

• SPEED Trim Pot: Adjusts the rate of the modulation.
• WIDTH Trim Pot: Controls the depth of the modulation.

Note: Adjusting internal trim pots should be done carefully with a small screwdriver. Excessive force can damage the components.

• Weak Signal/Poor Tone: Verify that all cables are in good condition. Check the settings of your amplifier and other pedals in your signal chain.
• Soroll no desitjat: Ensure your power supply is clean and free from interference. Try isolating the pedal from other electronic devices.
