2. Instruccions de seguretat importants

4. Configuració
Abans d'utilitzar la màquina d'espresso per primera vegada, seguiu aquests passos:
- Desembalar: Traieu amb cura tots els materials d'embalatge i assegureu-vos que hi hagi totes les peces.
- Neteja: Wash the glass carafe, porta filter, and filter baskets in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp tela.
- Cicle de primer ús (primació):
- Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the 'MAX' level.
- Col·loqueu la garrafa de vidre buida a la safata de degoteig.
- Insert the porta filter (without coffee) into the brewing head and lock it into place.
- Turn the control knob to the 'Brew' position.
- Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the machine to heat up until water starts flowing through the porta filter into the carafe. Let all the water run through.
- Turn the control knob to 'Off' and unplug the machine.
- Discard the water and rinse the carafe. Your machine is now primed and ready for use.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1. Preparació d'espresso
- Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh, cold water up to the desired level (max 4 cups).
- Prepare Porta Filter: Select the appropriate filter basket (single or double shot). Place it into the porta filter. Using the provided scoop, add finely ground espresso coffee to the filter basket. Do not overfill.
- Tamp Cafè: suaument tamp the coffee grounds evenly. Wipe any excess grounds from the rim of the porta filter.
- Attach Porta Filter: Insert the porta filter into the brewing head and turn it firmly to the right until it is securely locked.
- Col·loca la garrafa: Position the glass carafe on the drip tray directly under the porta filter spouts.
- Elaboració d'espresso: Turn the control knob to the 'Brew' position. The machine will begin to heat the water and force it through the coffee grounds.
- Monitor de preparació de cervesa: Once the desired amount of espresso has been brewed (refer to carafe markings), turn the control knob to 'Off'.
- Servir: Carefully remove the carafe and serve your fresh espresso.
- Clean Porta Filter: After brewing, carefully remove the porta filter (it will be hot) and discard the used coffee grounds. Rinse the porta filter and filter basket.
5.2. Llet al vapor
The steam wand allows you to froth milk for lattes and cappuccinos.
- Prepara la màquina: Ensure the water reservoir is filled. After brewing espresso, the machine is typically hot enough for steaming.
- Preparar la llet: Fill a metal frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to about one-third full.

- Activa Steam: Turn the control knob to the 'Steam' position. Steam will begin to emerge from the wand.
- Escuma de llet: Move the pitcher up and down gently, keeping the steam wand tip just below the surface to create foam. As the milk heats and expands, lower the pitcher to keep the tip submerged. Continue until the milk reaches the desired temperature and froth consistency.

6.1. Neteja diària

6.2. Descalcificació
Mineral deposits from water can build up in your machine over time, affecting performance. Descale your machine every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
- Preparació de la solució descalcificadora: Barregeu una solució descalcificadora segons les instruccions del fabricant (per exemple, vinagre blanc i aigua o un descalcificador comercial).
- Omplir el dipòsit: Aboqueu la solució descalcificadora al dipòsit d'aigua.
- Cicle d'execució: Place an empty carafe under the porta filter. Turn the control knob to 'Brew' and allow half of the solution to run through.
- Steam Wand Descale: Turn the control knob to 'Steam' and allow steam to release for about 30 seconds to clean the steam wand.
- Descans: Turn the machine off and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Cicle complet: Turn the machine back on and run the remaining solution through the brew head.
- Cicles d'esbandida: After descaling, fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water and run at least two full cycles of plain water through the machine to rinse thoroughly.
