4. Instal·lació
4.1 Preinstal·lació
- Turn off power to the landscape lighting system at the main transformer.
- Unpack the fixture and inspect for any damage.
- Ensure you have all necessary tools: wire strippers, screwdriver, and a shovel or trowel for digging.
4.2 Bulb Installation (MR-16)
- Carefully remove the front cover or lens of the fixture.
- Insert one 35-watt maximum MR-16 halogen bulb into the bi-pin socket. Avoid touching the bulb glass with bare hands; use a clean cloth or gloves to prevent oil residue, which can shorten bulb life.
- Securely reattach the front cover or lens.
4.3 Muntatge de l'aparell
The Kichler 15382BK is designed for in-ground installation using the supplied stake.
- Select a desired location for the accent light.
- Attach the fixture to the top of the 8-inch in-ground stake.
- Push the stake firmly into the ground until the fixture is stable. Ensure the fixture is level and securely positioned.

4.4 Connexions de cablejat
This fixture uses low voltage wiring. Connect to a 12-volt landscape lighting transformer (sold separately).
- Lay out the 18-2 gauge SPT-1-W lead wire from the fixture to the main low voltage cable.
- Using the supplied cable connectors, securely attach the fixture's lead wires to the main low voltage cable. Ensure a tight, waterproof connection.
- Bury the low voltage cable and fixture lead wire a few inches underground to protect them from damage.
5. Funcionament
Once installed and connected to a 12-volt landscape lighting system, the Kichler 15382BK Accent Light operates in conjunction with your system's transformer and timer settings.
- Encès/apagat: The light will turn on and off according to the schedule set on your landscape lighting transformer or manual switch.
- Ajust de la direcció de la llum: The fixture head can be manually adjusted up to 90 degrees to direct light precisely where needed for spotlighting or grazing effects. Loosen the adjustment screw, position the head, and then tighten the screw to secure.
6. Manteniment
Regular maintenance will help ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your accent light.
- Neteja: Periodically clean the fixture and lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish or lens.
- Substitució de bombetes: If the bulb burns out, ensure power is disconnected before replacing. Allow the fixture to cool completely. Follow the bulb installation steps (Section 4.2) to replace with a new 35-watt maximum MR-16 halogen bulb.
- Inspecció: Annually inspect wiring and connections for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Ensure all connections remain secure.
7. Solució De Problemes

8. Garantia i assistència
8.1 Informació de la garantia
Kichler Lighting warrants that landscape lighting products with model numbers beginning with "15" will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Specific exceptions apply:
- Vol baixtage outdoor products (Design Pro LED) for single-family residences: fifteen (15) years or 40,000 hours (whichever comes first) on the light engine and all other electrical components. For commercial use: ten (10) years or 40,000 hours.
- Vol baixtage landscape lighting fixture brass, copper, and stainless steel housings and their exterior finishes: fifteen (15) years. Natural patination of brass or copper is not considered a defect.
- Vol baixtage landscape lighting aluminum housings and their exterior finishes: five (5) years.
- HID ballasts: two (2) years.
- Bulbs carry no warranty.
- Painted transformers: limited 10 years.
- Stainless steel transformers: limited lifetime of original purchaser warranty.
To replace a product with a warranted defect, the original purchaser must send the allegedly defective parts or products F.O.B. destination to the plant designated by Kichler Lighting, along with proof of purchase, original purchaser's name, return address, and a description of the claimed product defect.
