Introducció

Configuració
1. Instal·lació de la bateria
The KL-120 operates on 6 AA-size alkaline batteries. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
- Turn the label maker over to access the battery compartment on the underside.
- Feu lliscar la tapa del compartiment de la bateria en la direcció indicada per la fletxa per obrir-la.
- Insert 6 AA batteries, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends are aligned correctly according to the diagram inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it until it clicks into place.
2. Instal·lació de cassets de cinta
The KL-120 uses Casio EZ-Label Printer tape cassettes (6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 18mm widths).
- Open the tape compartment cover located on the top right side of the label maker.
- Insert the tape cassette firmly into the compartment with the tape outlet facing the front of the label maker. Ensure it clicks into place.

Instruccions de funcionament
1. Encendre/apagar
Premeu el botó ON/OFF button (blue button on the left) to turn the label maker on or off.

- Turn on the label maker. The LCD display will show a blinking cursor.

- Per preview your label before printing, press the PREVIEW botó.
- To print, press the IMPRIMIR button. The label will be fed out and automatically cut.
3. Text Formatting
The KL-120 offers various formatting options:
- TALLA: Premeu el botó TALLA button to cycle through available font sizes (e.g., Small, Medium, Large).
- ESTIL: Premeu el botó ESTIL button to apply different text styles (e.g., Bold, Italic, Outline, Shadow).
- EFECTE: Premeu el botó EFECTE button for special text effects.
- FORMULARI: Utilitza el EMPLEAT botó seguit de FORMULARI to adjust pitch (character spacing). Selecting "NONE" for pitch can help conserve tape.
- majúscules: Premeu el botó CAPS button to toggle between uppercase and lowercase letters.
- MAJÚS: Aguanta MAJÚS and press a key to access its secondary function (e.g., numbers, symbols).
4. Symbols and Special Characters
Premeu el botó SÍMBOL button to access a library of symbols and special characters. Use the arrow keys to navigate and SET per seleccionar.

The KL-120 allows you to save frequently used labels. Press MEMÒRIA to save or recall labels. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Manteniment
1. Cleaning the Label Maker
To ensure optimal performance, periodically clean the print head and tape path.
- Turn off the label maker and remove the tape cassette.
- Gently wipe the print head with a soft, dry cloth or a cotton swab. Do not touch the print head directly with your fingers.
- Remove any dust or tape residue from the tape path and cutter blade area using a soft brush or compressed air.

2. Substitució de cassets de cinta
When the tape runs out or you wish to change tape types/colors, follow the tape cassette installation steps in the Setup section.

When the display becomes dim or the label maker stops functioning correctly, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section. Always replace all 6 batteries at once with new, fresh AA alkaline batteries.
