Instal·lació
1. Passos previs a la instal·lació
- Apagueu l'alimentació: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box that controls your heating and cooling system. Turn off the power to prevent electrical shock.
- Elimina el termòstat antic: Carefully remove the cover of your old thermostat. Take a clear picture of the wiring connections before disconnecting any wires. This will serve as a reference for connecting the new thermostat. Label each wire with the terminal designation it was connected to (e.g., R, G, Y, W).
- Check System Compatibility: Ensure your HVAC system is compatible with this thermostat. This model is compatible with most 24V heating and cooling systems, including gas/oil/electric furnaces (heating only or single stage), heat pumps without auxiliary heat, 2-wire hydronic (hot water) systems, and 750 millivolt gas fireplaces. It is NOT compatible with heat pump multistage, radiant ceiling heat, electric baseboards, heat pumps with auxiliary heat, portable space heaters, 3-wire hydronic (hot water) systems, gas/oil/electric furnace multistage, cool multistage, or plug-in air conditioners.

2. Muntatge del nou termòstat
- Separate Wall Plate: Gently separate the front of the new thermostat from its wall mounting plate. This is typically done by pressing a tab or gently pulling the two halves apart.
- Posició de la placa de paret: Hold the wall plate against the wall where you want to mount the thermostat. Thread the existing thermostat wires through the opening in the wall plate.

3. Cablatge
Connect the wires from your wall to the corresponding terminals on the new thermostat's wall plate. Refer to the picture you took of your old thermostat's wiring and the labels you made. This model is primarily battery-powered, so a common (C) wire is not strictly required for operation, but it can be connected if available for continuous power to the display. If a C-wire is present and you wish to use it, connect it to the 'C' terminal. Otherwise, ensure the batteries are installed.
The control panel diagram illustrates the location of the quick and easy temperature change buttons, fan slide switch, and mode slide switch.

4. Instal·lació de la bateria
This thermostat operates on 2 AA batteries. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment located on the back of the thermostat unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-). If a black plastic tab is present in the battery compartment, remove it prior to installation to activate the batteries.
The Lux Pro thermostat is designed for battery-only operation, featuring a large back-lit display for easy reading.
Once batteries are installed, snap the thermostat front onto the wall mounting plate. Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Your Lux Pro PSD011B thermostat is designed for straightforward operation.
1. Configuració de la temperatura

Use the System Mode slide switch located on the side of the thermostat to select your desired operating mode:
- CALOR: The thermostat will control your heating system to maintain the set temperature.

- GUAI: The thermostat will control your cooling system to maintain the set temperature.
3. Selecció del mode de ventilador
Use the Fan Mode slide switch located on the side of the thermostat to select your desired fan operation:

- ACTIVITAT: The fan runs continuously, regardless of whether the heating or cooling system is actively operating.
Manteniment
- Substitució de la bateria: Replace the 2 AA batteries annually, or when the low battery indicator appears on the display. To replace, gently pull the thermostat unit off the wall plate, replace the batteries, and snap it back into place.
- Neteja: Netegeu el termòstat amb un suau, damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents.
