Configuració

Alimentació de la ràdio

The G3 radio can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter.

Instal·lació de la bateria

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio (refer to Figure 2).
Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open.
Insert four (4) AA batteries (LR6, AM3) according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.

Important: Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries within the unit. If using rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries, the radio can charge them when connected to the AC adapter.

Connect the supplied AC adapter to the DC 8V input jack on the left side of the radio (refer to Figure 4).

Selecció de bandes

Press the corresponding band button to select your desired frequency range:

FM/AIR: For FM broadcast stations (88-108 MHz) and VHF Aircraft band (118-137 MHz).
AM: For Medium Wave (MW) broadcast stations (530-1710 KHz).
METERBAND: For Shortwave (SW) broadcast stations (150-30000 KHz).

Mètodes d'afinació

Sintonització manual

Gira el gran Pom de sintonització on the right side of the radio to adjust the frequency up or down.
For fine-tuning on Shortwave, use the FINE +/- slider located below the tuning knob.

Press the appropriate band button (FM/AIR, AM, METERBAND) after entering the frequency to confirm.

Single-Side Band (SSB) Reception

Premeu el botó SYNC/SSB button to toggle SSB mode. This is essential for clear reception of amateur radio and utility signals on Shortwave.

Ràdio Data System (RDS)

When tuned to an FM station broadcasting RDS data, press the MODE RDS button to display information such as station name, song title, or messages on the LCD.

Premeu el botó Bloqueig botó () to prevent accidental changes to the frequency or settings. The "LOCK" indicator will appear on the display. Press again to unlock.
