Instruccions de configuració

Follow these steps to set up your Retro-Bit Retro Duo console:

  1. Connect to Television: Insert the AV/S-video cable into the corresponding ports on the back of the Retro Duo console (refer to Image 3). Connect the other end of the cable to the AV or S-video input ports on your television. Ensure the colors of the plugs match the colors of the ports (Yellow for Video, White for Left Audio, Red for Right Audio).

    • For 16-bit SNES games, insert the cartridge into the lower slot (16-bit slot) on the console.
    Ensure the cartridge is inserted firmly and correctly. The console features reinforced cartridge doors and slide-proof bottom support to hold cartridges securely.
  2. Seleccioneu el mode del sistema: Locate the 8-bit/16-bit switch on the console (refer to Image 1). Slide the switch to the appropriate position for the game you intend to play (e.g., '8-BIT' for NES games, '16-BIT' for SNES games).

  4. Play Game: Use the connected controllers to play your game. The console is compatible with original 16-bit controllers.

If you encounter issues with your Retro-Bit Retro Duo console, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Sense energia:
    • Ensure the AC adapter is securely connected to the console and a working power outlet.

  • Game Compatibility Notes:
    • The Retro Duo is compatible with most NES and SNES games, including many Japanese titles.
    • However, due to variations in original hardware and game programming, some specific games or accessories may not function correctly. Known examples of games that may exhibit issues include Battletoads (NES), Digger T. Rock (NES), Maniac Mansion (NES), Paperboy (NES), and Super Mario RPG (SNES).
    • Original NES accessories such as the NES Zapper, Power Pad, NES Advantage, NES Max, and Power Glove are generally not supported without specific adapters. The NES Zapper also requires a CRT television to function.
    • Famicom games are not directly compatible.
