Configuració i primer ús

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Ensure all parts listed in the "Parts Overview"secció hi són presents.
2. Neteja: Before first use, clean the bean hopper, bean hopper lid, ground coffee container, and the upper conical burr with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not immerse the main grinder housing in water.
3. Muntatge:
   • Place the ground coffee container into its designated slot in the grinder housing.
   • Ensure the upper conical burr is properly seated and locked into place.
   • Place the bean hopper onto the grinder housing, aligning the arrows on the hopper with the desired grind setting on the housing. Turn the hopper clockwise until it locks into position.
   • Place the bean hopper lid on top of the bean hopper.
4. Col·locació: Place the grinder on a stable, flat, and dry surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.

1. Selecting the Grind Setting

The Capresso Infinity offers 16 grind settings, ranging from extra fine to coarse. To select a grind setting, rotate the bean hopper. The arrow on the bean hopper should align with the desired setting on the grinder housing.

• Extra Fine (1-4): Ideal for Turkish coffee and espresso.
• Fine (5-8): Suitable for espresso machines and Moka pots.
• Medium (9-12): Recommended for drip coffee makers and pour-over.
• Coarse (13-16): Best for French press and percolators.

Nota: Adjusting the grind setting while the grinder is running or empty is recommended to prevent burr damage.

Open the bean hopper lid and pour whole roasted coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill; the hopper has a maximum capacity of 8.8 ounces (250g). Ensure the lid is securely replaced before operating.

3. Setting the Grinding Time

The grinder features a timer dial to control the grinding duration. Rotate the timer dial to select the desired grinding time, typically from 5 to 60 seconds. The grinder will automatically stop once the set time has elapsed. For continuous grinding, turn the dial past the "60" mark to the "ON" position, and turn it back to "OFF" manually when done.

• Start with shorter times and adjust as needed to achieve the desired amount of ground coffee.
• The ground coffee container holds up to 4 ounces (120g) of ground coffee.

4. Starting and Stopping the Grinder

Once the grind setting and timer are set, the grinder will start automatically. To stop the grinder before the timer runs out, turn the timer dial to the "OFF" position.

5. Removing Ground Coffee

After grinding, carefully remove the ground coffee container from the grinder housing. Due to static electricity, some fine coffee particles may cling to the container. Gently tap the container to dislodge them before pouring.

3. Raspall: Use the provided cleaning brush to brush off any loose coffee grounds from the upper and lower burrs, and inside the grinding chamber.
4. Rentar: Wash the bean hopper, bean hopper lid, and ground coffee container with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These parts are not dishwasher safe.
5. Netejar: Wipe the exterior of the grinder housing with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the housing in water.

Deep Cleaning (Monthly or as needed)

For a more thorough cleaning, especially if you notice a decrease in grinding performance or a change in coffee flavor:

1. Treure la rebava superior: With the grinder unplugged, remove the bean hopper. Then, grasp the upper conical burr and twist it counter-clockwise to unlock and lift it out.
2. Rebaves netes: Use the cleaning brush to thoroughly clean both the upper and lower burrs. Ensure no coffee oils or particles remain. You can also use a vacuum cleaner with a narrow attachment to remove stubborn grounds from the grinding chamber.
3. Pastilles de neteja: For an even deeper clean, especially for removing coffee oils, use biodegradable coffee grinder cleaning tablets (included in the bundle).
   • Ensure the grinder is empty of coffee beans.
   • Place one tablet into the empty bean hopper.
   • Set the grinder to a medium grind setting.
   • Run the grinder until the tablet is fully ground.
   • Discard the ground tablet residue.
   • Run a small amount of coffee beans through the grinder and discard them to remove any remaining tablet residue.

4. Torneu a muntar: Reinsert the upper conical burr, twisting clockwise to lock it into place. Reattach the bean hopper and lid.
