Finding Your Combination

Your Fortress 1850D Combination Padlock comes with a pre-set, non-changeable 3-digit combination. This combination is typically found on a sticker located on the back of the padlock itself or on the packaging it came in. Carefully remove the sticker to reveal your unique combination. It is recommended to record this combination in a secure place for future reference.

Nota: The sticker may be difficult to remove cleanly and may leave residue. Use appropriate cleaning methods if necessary.

Turn the dial clockwise two full turns and stop at the first number of your combination.
Turn the dial counter-clockwise one full turn past the first number, and then stop at the second number of your combination.
Turn the dial clockwise directly to the third number of your combination.
Pull up on the shackle to open the padlock. If the shackle does not open, ensure the numbers are precisely aligned with the indicator mark.

Closing the Padlock

To close the padlock, push the shackle firmly down into the lock body until it clicks into place. Once closed, scramble the dial numbers to secure the lock. Ensure the shackle is fully seated; some force may be required to close it completely.

Manteniment

The Fortress 1850D Combination Padlock requires minimal maintenance. To ensure smooth operation:
