5. Configuració

5.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del rellotge.
2. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
3. Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
4. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

5.2 Sincronització inicial

After battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to receive the DCF-77 radio signal to set the correct time. This process may take several minutes.

• Place the clock near a window or in an open area to improve signal reception.
• Avoid placing the clock near electronic devices that may cause interference (e.g., TVs, computers, microwaves).
• The hands will move to the 12 o'clock position and then begin to search for the signal. Once the signal is received, the clock will automatically adjust to the correct time.

6. Operating the Clock

6.1 Configuració automàtica de l'hora

The WT-8000-TITAN is a radio-controlled clock that automatically synchronizes with the DCF-77 signal broadcast from Mainflingen, Germany. This ensures accurate timekeeping and automatic adjustment for Daylight Saving Time (summer/winter time changes).

Nota important: The DCF-77 signal is primarily for Central European Time (CET). In regions outside the DCF-77 reception area (e.g., the United Kingdom, North America), the clock may not synchronize correctly or at all. In such cases, manual time setting might be required, or the clock may not function as a radio-controlled device.

6.2 Manual Time Setting (If Automatic Synchronization Fails)

If the clock fails to synchronize with the DCF-77 signal after an extended period (e.g., 24 hours) or if you are outside the reception area, you may need to manually set the time. Refer to the instructions on the back of the clock or inside the battery compartment for specific manual adjustment procedures, if available. Typically, a small button or dial is used to advance the hands.

Note: Manual setting may be temporary as the clock will periodically attempt to resynchronize with the radio signal.
