5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Encès i apagat
La pistola de calor té un 3-stage switch located on the handle:
- Posició 0: Apagat
- Position 1 (Cool Air): 120°F (49°C) at 3.6 CFM airflow. This setting is ideal for cooling down materials or the tool itself.
- Position 2 (Variable Temperature/Airflow): Provides variable temperature control from 120°F to 1,100°F (49°C to 594°C) at 10.6 CFM airflow.
- Position 3 (Variable Temperature/Airflow): Provides variable temperature control from 120°F to 1,100°F (49°C to 594°C) at 17.6 CFM airflow.
To turn on, slide the switch to the desired setting. To turn off, slide the switch back to Position 0. It is recommended to use the cool air setting (Position 1) for a few minutes before turning off the tool completely to extend the life of the heating element.
5.2 Temperature and Airflow Control
The HL 1910 E allows continuous temperature variation when operating in Position 2 or 3. Use the adjustment dial (if present, typically at the rear of the tool) to fine-tune the temperature for your specific application. Higher airflow settings (Position 3) are suitable for larger areas or faster heating, while lower airflow (Position 2) offers more precise control.
5.3 Aplicacions
The Steinel HL 1910 E is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:
- Applying shrink tubing
- Activating adhesives
- Welding and shaping plastics
- Removing paint and varnish
- Descongelar canonades congelades
- Drying and curing materials
