Introducció
Thank you for choosing the Technoline WT 8000 Radio-Controlled Wall Clock. This clock is designed to provide accurate timekeeping by automatically synchronizing with a radio time signal. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper setup and operation of your new clock.
Informació de seguretat
- No exposeu el rellotge a temperatures extremes, llum solar directa ni humitat elevada.
- Eviteu deixar caure el rellotge o sotmetre'l a impactes forts.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the clock yourself. Contact qualified service personnel.
- Eliminar les bateries usades de manera responsable d'acord amb la normativa local.
- Mantingueu les piles fora de l'abast dels nens.

Configuració
1. Instal·lació de la bateria
- Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and - terminals).
- Substituïu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

2. Initial Synchronization (Radio Control)
After inserting the battery, the clock hands will automatically move to the 12 o'clock position and begin searching for the radio time signal. This process can take several minutes to several hours, depending on your location and signal strength.
- Place the clock near a window or in an open area, away from electronic devices that may cause interference.
- The clock is designed to receive the DCF77 time signal broadcast from Mainflingen, Germany. If you are outside the reception range of this signal, the clock may not synchronize automatically.
- Once the signal is received, the clock will automatically set itself to the correct Central European Time (CET), including adjustments for Daylight Saving Time (DST).

Imatge: Frontal view of the Technoline WT 8000 clock, displaying the clear white dial with black numerals and hands, and the 'Radio Controlled' symbol.
3. Manual Time Setting (If Radio Signal Unavailable)
If the clock fails to receive the radio signal after an extended period (e.g., 24 hours) or if you are outside the DCF77 signal range, you may need to set the time manually. The WT 8000 model typically does not offer a manual time setting button for the hands. It relies solely on the radio signal. If the signal is not received, the clock will remain at 12:00 or display an incorrect time. For optimal performance, ensure the clock is within the DCF77 signal range.
4. Muntatge del rellotge
Once the time is set, you can mount the clock on a wall. Use a suitable screw or hook (not included) in your desired location. The clock features a hanging slot on the back for easy installation.

Radio-Controlled Function
The Technoline WT 8000 is a radio-controlled clock, meaning it receives a time signal to automatically set and maintain accurate time. The clock will periodically search for the DCF77 signal to ensure precision and adjust for Daylight Saving Time changes without manual intervention.
- Ajust automàtic de l'hora: The clock automatically adjusts to the correct time after receiving the DCF77 signal.
- Horari d'estiu (DST): The clock will automatically switch between standard time and DST.
- Recepció del senyal: Best reception is typically at night. Avoid placing the clock near metal objects or electrical appliances that can interfere with the signal.
Manteniment
- Neteja: Netegeu el rellotge amb un drap suau i sec. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius ni dissolvents.
- Substitució de la bateria: Replace the AA battery annually or when the clock hands stop moving or become erratic. Always use a fresh, high-quality AA battery.
Resolució de problemes
| Problema | Causa possible | Solució |
|---|---|---|
| Clock hands do not move or display incorrect time. | La bateria està esgotada o inserida incorrectament. | Replace with a fresh AA battery, ensuring correct polarity. |
| Clock does not synchronize or shows incorrect time (e.g., 1 hour off). | Weak or no DCF77 radio signal reception. This clock primarily receives the German DCF77 signal. | Move the clock to a different location, preferably near a window and away from electronic interference. Allow up to 24 hours for synchronization. If outside the DCF77 signal range (e.g., in the UK or other non-CET regions), the clock may not function as a radio-controlled device and will display Central European Time. This model does not support manual time zone adjustment. |
| Clock stops working intermittently. | Low battery power or temporary signal interference. | Replace the battery. Relocate the clock to improve signal reception. |
