Configuració

The Stanley Light-Duty Utility Knife comes pre-assembled with a blade. No initial setup is required for first use.

2. Locate the unique snap closure mechanism on the knife body.
3. Carefully open the snap closure to separate the knife halves.
4. Remove the old blade, taking care to avoid direct contact with the sharp edge.
5. Insert a new replacement blade (Stanley COS091470 or equivalent) into the blade holder, ensuring it is seated correctly.
6. Align the knife halves and securely close the snap closure until it clicks into place.
7. Test the retraction mechanism to ensure the blade moves smoothly and locks securely in both extended and retracted positions.

Instruccions de funcionament

Extending the Blade

• Hold the knife firmly with one hand.
• Using your thumb, push the black slider button forward along the track until the blade extends to the desired length. The blade will lock into position at various points.

• After use, push the black slider button backward until the blade is fully retracted into the knife body.
• Ensure the blade is completely hidden before storing the knife.
