Controls i característiques

Familiarize yourself with the various controls and connections on your CD player:

  1. COMPARTIMENT DE LA PILA: Located on the bottom of the unit, for inserting AA batteries.
  2. JACK D'ENTRADA DE CC: For connecting an optional DC power adapter (not included).
  3. JACK PER AURICULAR: 3.5mm stereo jack for connecting the included headphones.
  4. CONTROL DE VOLUM: Rotary dial to adjust the audio output level.
  5. PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (►/−−): Premeu per iniciar o aturar la reproducció.
  6. STOP BUTTON (■): Premeu per aturar la reproducció.
  7. SKIP/SEARCH BUTTONS (◀◀ / ►►): Press briefly to skip tracks. Press and hold to search within a track.

Configuració

Alimentació del dispositiu

The GPX C3849 can be powered by two (2) AA batteries (not included) or an optional DC power adapter (not included).

Instal·lació de la bateria:

  1. Locate the BATTERY COMPARTMENT on the bottom of the unit.
  2. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

Using a DC Power Adapter (Optional):

If using an optional DC power adapter, plug the adapter into the DC IN JACK on the unit and then into a standard wall outlet. Batteries will be bypassed when an adapter is connected.

Connexió d'auriculars

Plug the 3.5mm stereo jack of the included headphones into the HEADPHONE JACK on the side of the unit.

Instruccions de funcionament

Carregant un CD

  1. Press the OPEN BUTTON to open the CD compartment lid.
  2. Place a CD (audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, or MP3 CD) onto the center spindle with the label side facing up.
  3. Premeu suaument el CD cap avall fins que encaixi al seu lloc.
  4. Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it latches. The LCD DISPLAY will show the total number of tracks.

Reproducció bàsica

  • Reproduir/pausa: Press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (►/−−) to start playback. Press again to pause.
  • Atura: Press the STOP BUTTON (■) to stop playback.
  • Omet les pistes: During playback, press the SKIP/SEARCH BUTTONS (◀◀ / ►►) briefly to skip to the previous or next track.
  • Cerca: During playback, press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH BUTTONS (◀◀ / ►►) to fast-forward or rewind within the current track.
  • Volum: Rotate the VOLUME CONTROL dial to adjust the listening level.

Playback Modes (Repeat and Random)

Press the MODE BUTTON repeatedly to cycle through available playback modes, which may include:

  • Repeteix un: Repeteix la pista actual.
  • Repetiu-ho tot: Repeats all tracks on the disc.
  • Reproducció aleatòria: Reprodueix les pistes en ordre aleatori.

Programming Tracks (24-Track Programming)

You can program up to 24 tracks to play in a specific order:

  1. With the CD stopped, press the PROGRAM BUTTON. The LCD DISPLAY will show 'P01' and the track number will flash.
  2. Use the SKIP/SEARCH BUTTONS (◀◀ / ►►) to select the first track you wish to program.
  3. Press the PROGRAM BUTTON again to confirm the selection. The display will advance to 'P02'.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add up to 24 tracks to your program.
  5. After programming all desired tracks, press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (►/−−) to start playback of your programmed sequence.
  6. To clear the program, press the STOP BUTTON (■) twice.

Manteniment

Neteja de la unitat

  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, slightly damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents.
  • To clean the CD lens, use a specialized CD lens cleaning kit. Do not touch the lens directly.

Cura de la bateria

  • Traieu les piles si no heu d'utilitzar la unitat durant un període prolongat per evitar fuites.
