Note: Four 1.5V AA batteries are required and are not included in the package.

1. Instal·lació de la bateria
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the alarm unit (refer to Figure 2).

The Chacon 34030 alarm can be installed in two ways:

For optimal detection, position the alarm in an area where movement is expected, such as near an entrance or hallway. The detection zone is 6 meters with a 110-degree angle. Avoid placing the unit directly facing heat sources or in direct sunlight, as this may cause false alarms.

The alarm comes with a default code. It is highly recommended to change this to a personal 4-digit code for security.

- Enter your desired 4-digit code.
- Premeu el botó SET button again to confirm. A beep will indicate successful code change.
2. Arming the Alarm
- Enter your 4-digit code.
- Premeu el botó ARM botó.
- The alarm will emit a series of beeps, indicating a delay period (typically 10-15 seconds) before it is fully armed. This allows you to exit the protected area.
3. Disarming the Alarm
- Upon entering the protected area, the alarm will start a delay period (typically 10-15 seconds) during which you must enter your code.
- Enter your 4-digit code.

4. Alarm Trigger
If motion is detected while the alarm is armed, the 130 dB siren will activate immediately. The siren will sound for a set duration (e.g., 30-60 seconds) and then reset, ready to detect further motion.
Manteniment

- Neteja: Gently wipe the exterior of the alarm with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the unit. Ensure the motion sensor lens is kept clean and free of dust for accurate detection.
- Prova: Periodically test the alarm by arming it and then triggering the motion sensor to ensure it is functioning correctly.
