Carefully remove the TV and all accessories from the packaging. Place the TV on a stable, level surface or mount it securely. The TV comes with a removable stand. An optional wall-mounting bracket (model TY-WK5P1RW) is available for wall installation.

Use the provided remote control to power on/off the TV, select input sources, adjust volume, and navigate menus. The TV supports a multi-lingual menu in English, Spanish, and French.

VIERA Image Viewer

Insert an SD card containing JPEG images into the SD card slot. The VIERA Image Viewer will allow you to display photos on the large screen. You can choose from 3 types of background music and 4 display effects for slideshows. Navigate images using a thumbnail display.

Connect compatible AV devices (such as DVD/Blu-ray Disc players, home theater systems, digital cameras, and camcorders) to the TV using an HDMI cable. VIERA Link enables you to control these interconnected devices using only the VIERA remote control.

Accessing the Service Menu (Advanced Users Only)

The service menu allows for fine-tuning of display parameters beyond the standard user settings. Use with extreme caution. Always record original values before making any changes.

A view the total operating hours and power-on count of your Plasma panel:

Enter the service menu as described above.
