1. Introducció

The Casio CTK-240 is a slim and easy-to-use 49-key electric keyboard designed for beginners and enthusiasts. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your keyboard, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable musical experience.

3. Configuració

1. Font d'alimentació:
   • Adaptador de CA: Connect a compatible AC adapter (not included) to the DC 9.5V terminal on the rear of the keyboard and plug it into a standard wall outlet.
   • Bateries: Open the battery compartment cover on the underside of the keyboard. Insert six AA-size alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
2. Atril de música: Attach the included music stand to the designated slots on the top panel of the keyboard.
3. Headphones (Optional): For private practice, plug 3.5mm stereo headphones into the PHONES/OUTPUT jack located on the rear of the keyboard.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

1. Encès/apagat: Premeu el botó PODER botó per encendre o apagar el teclat.
2. Ajust de volum: Utilitza el VOLUM slider to adjust the overall sound level.
3. Selecció de tons: Premeu el botó TO button, then use the number buttons or +/- buttons to select from 100 different instrument tones. The selected tone will be displayed on the LCD.
4. Selecció de ritmes: Premeu el botó RITME button, then use the number buttons or +/- buttons to select from 100 rhythmic patterns. Press INICI/PARA per començar o acabar el ritme.
5. Playing Built-in Songs: Premeu el botó CANÇÓ button, then use the number buttons or +/- buttons to select one of the 50 built-in songs. Press INICI/PARA to play the song.
6. Funció de la lliçó: While a built-in song is playing, use the MELODY ON/OFF button to mute or unmute the melody part, allowing you to play along.
7. Automatic Accompaniment: When a rhythm is selected, the keyboard can provide automatic chord accompaniment based on the notes you play.
8. Ajust de tempo: Utilitza el TEMPO +/- buttons to increase or decrease the speed of rhythms or songs.

5. Manteniment

• Neteja: Wipe the keyboard with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp drap i després eixugueu-lo bé. Eviteu productes de neteja o dissolvents abrasius.

• Sense energia:
  • Ensure the AC adapter is securely connected to both the keyboard and a working power outlet.
  • Si feu servir piles, comproveu que estiguin inserides correctament i que no estiguin esgotades. Substituïu-les per piles noves si cal.
• Sense so:
  • Check the volume level. Increase it using the VOLUME slider.
  • If headphones are connected, sound will only come through the headphones. Disconnect them to hear sound from the built-in speakers.
  • Ensure a tone is selected and not set to a silent instrument.
• Les tecles no responen:
  • Apagueu el teclat i torneu-lo a encendre.
  • Ensure no foreign objects are lodged between the keys.
