The watch features a crown on the side for adjusting settings:
- Adjusting Date: Gently pull the crown out to the first click position. Rotate the crown to set the desired date.
- Temps d'ajust: Pull the crown out to the second click position. Rotate the crown to set the correct hour and minute. Push the crown back in completely to start the watch.
Using Indiglo Backlight
The Timex Indiglo feature illuminates the entire watch dial for easy reading in the dark:
- To activate the Indiglo backlight, simply press the crown inwards. The dial will illuminate for a few seconds.
Understanding the Dial
The watch dial includes both standard 12-hour and 24-hour (military time) markers for versatile time reading:
- The outer ring displays standard 12-hour time (1-12).
- The inner ring displays 24-hour time (13-24), corresponding to the outer 12-hour markers.
- The bezel on the outside also features minute/second markers for precise timing.
