Configuració i primer ús

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove all packaging materials, stickers, and plugs from the appliance. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Neteja inicial: Before first use, wash the water reservoir, milk reservoir, portafilter, and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp tela.
3. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Ensure it is securely placed in its position at the back of the machine to prevent leaks.
4. Fill Milk Reservoir (Optional): If preparing milk-based drinks, fill the milk reservoir with cold milk up to the MAX line. Place it securely on the machine.
5. Preparació de la màquina: This step is crucial for proper operation and to prevent issues like blinking lights or no water flow.

   • Place a large cup under the coffee spout and milk frother.
   • Press the "Clean" button. The machine will cycle water through the system. Repeat this process 2-3 times until water flows consistently and the machine sounds normal. This purges air from the system.

Instruccions de funcionament

Preparació de l'espresso:

1. Assegureu-vos que el dipòsit d'aigua estigui ple.

3. Add ground coffee to the filter basket. For E.S.E. pods, use the dedicated E.S.E. pod filter basket. Level the coffee and tamp gently if using ground coffee.
4. Attach the portafilter to the brew head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right until secure.
5. Place your cup(s) on the drip tray, adjusting the cup tray if necessary.
6. Press the "Espresso" button. The machine will automatically brew the espresso.

Preparing Cappuccino or Latte:

1. Segueix els passos 1-5 per preparar l'espresso.
2. Ensure the milk reservoir is filled with cold milk. Adjust the froth intensity knob to your preference.
3. For Cappuccino, press the "Cappuccino" button. For Latte, press the "Latte" button.
4. The machine will first froth and dispense milk, then brew espresso into your cup.

Using the Froth Function:

3. Press the "Froth" button. The machine will dispense frothed milk. Press again to stop.

For greater control over brew volume and froth, use the Manual mode.

2. Press the "Manual" button.
3. Press the "Espresso" button to start brewing coffee. Press again to stop.
4. Press the "Froth" button to start frothing milk. Press again to stop.

Manteniment i Neteja

Una neteja regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil de la màquina.

Neteja diària:

• Sistema de llet: After each milk-based drink, place a cup under the milk frother spout and press the "Clean" button. This flushes the milk lines with hot water/steam. For thorough cleaning, remove the milk reservoir, empty any remaining milk, and wash with warm, soapy water.
• Portafiltres i cistelles de filtre: Remove the portafilter, discard used coffee grounds/pod, and rinse the portafilter and filter basket under warm water. Use a brush to remove any residue.
• Safata de degoteig: Buideu i esbandiu la safata de degoteig diàriament.
• Exterior: Netegeu l'exterior de la màquina amb un damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius.

Descalcificació:

Descaling is essential to remove mineral buildup and should be performed regularly, depending on water hardness and usage frequency (e.g., every 2-3 months).

1. Empty the water reservoir and fill it with a descaling solution mixed according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions.
2. Col·loqueu un recipient gran sota el broc del cafè i l'escuma de llet.
3. Run several cycles of "Espresso" and "Froth" (or use Manual mode) until the reservoir is empty.
