Configuració
1. Desembalatge
Carefully remove the radio from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage. Verify that all contents are present: Bernstein RAC 20 unit, AC power adapter, and this instruction manual.
2. Connexió d'alimentació
Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the 12V DC input jack on the rear of the unit. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.
For clock and alarm backup during power outages, install 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the rear of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.
3. Configuració de l'antena
- Recepció FM: The unit has a built-in FM antenna. For improved reception, connect an external FM antenna to the 75 Ohm FM antenna input on the rear panel and set the FM Antenna switch to "EXT".
- Recepció AM: The unit features a built-in AM antenna. For optimal AM reception, rotate the unit to find the best signal.
Instruccions de funcionament
1. Power On/Off and Function Selection
Rotate the Function Selector knob on the front panel to choose between OFF, FM, AM, or AUX (Auxiliary input).
2. Radio Tuning
- Select either FM or AM using the Function Selector.
- Rotate the large Tuning Dial to manually select your desired radio station. The Tuning Indicator light will illuminate when a strong signal is received.
3. Control de volum
Rotate the Volume knob clockwise to increase the volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

- Locate the "Time Set" switch on the rear panel.
- Move the switch to the "SET" position.
- Rotate the Clock Dial on the front panel to set the correct time.
- Once the time is set, return the "Time Set" switch to the "RUN" position.

- Press the "ALARM" button on the front panel.
- While holding the "ALARM" button, rotate the Clock Dial to set your desired alarm time.
- Release the "ALARM" button. The alarm is now set.
- To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the "ALARM" button briefly. An indicator light (if present) will show alarm status.
- When the alarm sounds, press any button (except the "ALARM" button again) to snooze, or turn the Function Selector to OFF to cancel.
6. Using the Sleep Timer

- While the radio is playing, press the "SLEEP" button.
- Each press of the "SLEEP" button will cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes, or OFF).

7. Entrada auxiliar (AUX)
Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the "Aux In" jack on the rear panel using a 3.5mm audio cable.
- Set the Function Selector to "AUX".
- Play audio from your connected device. The sound will be output through the radio's speakers.
- Adjust the volume using the radio's Volume knob and/or the connected device's volume control.
8. Sortida d'auriculars
Plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack on the front panel for private listening. The speakers will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
Manteniment
