1. Ensure the fuel valve is open (ON position).

3. Move the throttle lever slightly to the "FAST" position.
4. Pull the recoil starter handle firmly and smoothly until the engine starts. Do not let the rope snap back.

5.2 Compaction Procedure

• Set the engine speed to the desired level using the throttle. Higher speeds generally result in greater compaction force.
