Configuració
1. Desembalatge i inspecció inicial
Carefully remove the safe from its packaging. Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. Ensure all components are present: the safe unit, 2 emergency keys, 4 AA batteries, 4 mounting screws, 4 wall plugs, and this user manual.
2. Instal·lació de la bateria

3. Configuració del vostre codi personal
It is highly recommended to change the factory default code immediately after battery installation.
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. You will hear a beep.
- En 5 segons, introduïu el codi de 3 a 8 dígits que vulgueu al teclat numèric.
- Press the '#' button to confirm. You will hear a confirmation beep.
- Test your new code with the door open before closing it. Enter your code, then press '#'. The green light should illuminate, and you should be able to turn the knob to retract the bolts.
4. Mounting the Safe (Optional)
For enhanced security, the safe can be mounted to a wall or floor using the pre-drilled holes.

Funcionament de la caixa forta
Opening with Electronic Code
- Enter your 3-8 digit personal code.
- Press the '#' button.
- The green light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.
- En 5 segons, gireu el pom en sentit horari per obrir la porta de la caixa forta.
Tancant la caixa forta
Close the door and turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts. The safe will automatically lock.

Emergency Key Opening
In case of forgotten code or battery failure, the safe can be opened using the emergency key.
- Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind the HMF logo plate or a small cover on the keypad.

- While holding the key turned, rotate the knob on the keypad to open the safe.
- Once open, remove the key. Store emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe.

Manteniment
Canvi de bateria
When the batteries are low, the red light on the keypad will flash, or the safe will not respond to code entry. Replace all 4 AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
Neteja
Clean the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish. Do not spray liquids directly onto the keypad or lock mechanism.
