This manual provides instructions for the proper assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the ROBERTS Junior Power Carpet Stretcher 12-Piece Value Kit. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure safe and effective operation.

The ROBERTS Junior Power Carpet Stretcher is designed for stretching carpet during installation. It is an economical power stretcher compatible with various carpet thicknesses due to its adjustable pin depth setting. The kit includes a non-marring tail block for quick and safe stretching without the need for additional support, and an adjustable locking tube for fast incremental adjustments. The entire kit is designed for easy storage and transportation with interlocking cases.

Desempaquetar components: Open the interlocking carrying cases. The larger case contains the stretcher head and tail block, while the smaller case holds the extension tubes.

Muntar els tubs d'extensió: Connect the desired number of 3 ft. extension tubes to achieve the required length for your stretching application. Insert the smaller end of one tube into the larger end of another, ensuring the locking pins engage securely.
Attach Adjustable Locking Tube: Connect the ROBERTS 10-250 Adjustable Locking Tube to the assembled extension tubes. This tube allows for fine-tuning the stretcher's length.
Connect Stretcher Head: Attach the Junior Power Stretcher head to one end of the assembled tube system. Ensure it is securely fastened.
Attach Tail Block: Connect the Tail Block with Wheels to the opposite end of the assembled tube system. The tail block provides stability and leverage against the wall.

Adjust Pin Depth: The stretcher head features an adjustable pin depth setting. Use a flathead screwdriver to adjust the two screws on the stretcher head to set the pin depth according to the carpet thickness. This ensures proper grip without damaging the carpet backing.

Instruccions de funcionament

Follow these steps for effective carpet stretching:

Position the Stretcher: Place the tail block firmly against the wall or a stable surface from which you intend to stretch. Position the stretcher head on the carpet, approximately 6-12 inches from the wall you are stretching towards.
Engage Carpet Pins: Press down on the stretcher head to engage the pins into the carpet. Ensure the pins are fully embedded for a secure grip.
Apply Leverage: Using the long handle, apply downward pressure and leverage to stretch the carpet. The adjustable locking tube allows for incremental adjustments to the stretcher's length as you work.

Secure the Carpet: Once the carpet is stretched taut, secure it to the tack strip along the wall. Use a knee kicker or other appropriate tools to ensure the carpet is properly seated.
Alliberament i reposicionament: Release the pressure on the stretcher handle and carefully disengage the pins from the carpet. Reposition the stretcher for the next section, overlapping slightly with the previously stretched area to ensure uniform tension.

Resolució de problemes
