Introducció
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Avision FB5000 Color A3 Flatbed Scanner. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the scanner to ensure proper operation and to prevent damage.
The Avision FB5000 is a next-generation A3 flatbed scanner designed for versatility and ease of use. Configuració
1. Unpacking the Scanner
Traieu amb cura tots els components de l'embalatge. Assegureu-vos que hi hagi els elements següents:
- Avision FB5000 Flatbed Scanner unit
- Cable USB
- Adaptador d'alimentació
- Software Installation CD (or download instructions)
- Guia d'inici ràpid
Conserveu l'embalatge original per a futurs transports o emmagatzematges.
2. Connexió de l'escàner
- Col·loqueu l'escàner sobre una superfície estable i plana a prop de l'ordinador.
- Connect the USB cable from the scanner's USB port to an available USB port on your computer.
- Connect the power adapter to the scanner's power input, then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- Press the Power button on the scanner. The power indicator light should illuminate.

- Using the Installation CD: Insert the provided CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive and follow the on-screen instructions.

- Follow the installation wizard prompts. Restart your computer if prompted after installation is complete.
Funcionament de l'escàner
1. Preparació de documents per a l'escaneig
- Ensure documents are clean, dry, and free of staples, paper clips, or tears.
- For books or thick items, the scanner lid can be slightly elevated to accommodate the material.
- Place the document face-down on the scanner glass, aligning it with the corner guide.
2. Procediment bàsic d'escaneig
- Open your preferred scanning application (e.g., Avision Button Manager, TWAIN-compliant software).
- Select the Avision FB5000 as your scanner.
- Choose your desired scanning settings (e.g., color mode, resolution, document size, output format). The FB5000 supports up to 600 dpi resolution.

3. Advanced Scanning Features
- Automatic Multiple Images Cropping: The scanner software can automatically detect and crop multiple images placed on the flatbed in a single scan.
- Auto Crop, Deskew, and Thresholding: These image-enhancing features are available through the scanning software to improve scan quality and readability.
- Large Scanning Area: The 11.7" x 16.5" (297mm x 420mm) scanning area allows for scanning of A3 documents and larger items.
Manteniment
1. Neteja del vidre de l'escàner
Dust and smudges on the scanner glass can affect scan quality.
- Apagueu l'escàner i desendolleu el cable d'alimentació.
