1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your new Liebherr CBP 4013 Comfort BioFresh refrigerator. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and first use to ensure proper functioning and to prevent damage to the appliance or injury to yourself.

Your Liebherr CBP 4013 is a freestanding combined refrigerator-freezer with BioFresh technology, designed for optimal food preservation and energy efficiency (A++).

2. Instruccions de seguretat

Always observe the following safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury, or damage when using your appliance.

• Seguretat elèctrica: Ensure the power supply matches the rating plate. The appliance is supplied without a plug; professional installation is recommended. Do not use extension cords or multiple socket outlets.
• Instal·lació: Place the appliance on a firm, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance to prevent overheating. Do not install near heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight.

3. Configuració i instal·lació

3.1 Desembalatge

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Dispose of packaging responsibly. Check the appliance for any transport damage. If damaged, do not connect it to the mains.

3.2 Col·locació

Place the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated room. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure sufficient space for door opening and air circulation. The dimensions of the appliance are approximately 63 cm (Depth) x 60 cm (Width) x 201.1 cm (Height).

3.3 Anivellació

Use the adjustable feet at the bottom of the appliance to ensure it stands level. This is crucial for proper door alignment and efficient operation.

3.4 Connexió elèctrica

As the appliance is supplied without a plug, a qualified electrician should connect it to a properly earthed socket. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the appliance's rating plate.

3.5 Neteja inicial i primer ús

Before first use, clean the interior and accessories with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. After cleaning, wait at least 4 hours before plugging in the appliance to allow the refrigerant to settle. Once plugged in, allow it to run for several hours to reach operating temperature before loading food.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Tauler de control

The control panel is located at the top of the refrigerator compartment. It allows you to adjust temperatures, activate special functions, and monitor the appliance's status.

• Botó On/Off: Premeu per encendre o apagar l'aparell.
• Botons amunt / avall: Use to adjust the temperature settings for both refrigerator and freezer compartments.
• SuperFrost Button: Activates the SuperFrost function for rapid freezing.
• Botó d'alarma: Silences the temperature alarm.

4.2 Configuració de la temperatura

Press the Up or Down buttons to set the desired temperature. The display will show the set temperature. Recommended temperatures are +5°C for the refrigerator and -18°C for the freezer.

4.3 BioFresh Compartment

The BioFresh drawers provide optimal storage conditions for fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy products, keeping them fresh for significantly longer periods. The humidity level in these drawers can be adjusted for different types of food.

4.4 SuperFrost Function

Activate SuperFrost when freezing large quantities of fresh food. This rapidly lowers the freezer temperature to preserve vitamins and nutrients. Activate it 24 hours before placing fresh food in the freezer. The function automatically switches off after a certain period.

4.5 Bloqueig infantil

To prevent accidental changes to settings, your appliance is equipped with a child lock. Refer to the full manual for specific instructions on how to activate and deactivate this feature using the control panel.

5. Manteniment i Neteja

5.1 Neteja de l'interior

Regularly clean the interior with lukewarm water and a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Remove shelves and drawers for thorough cleaning. Ensure all parts are dry before replacing them.

5.2 Neteja de l'exterior

Netegeu les superfícies exteriors amb un damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild cleaning agent. Do not use stainless steel cleaners on painted surfaces.

5.3 Descongelació

The refrigerator compartment features automatic defrosting. Water from defrosting evaporates automatically. The freezer compartment also has an automatic defrosting system, minimizing the need for manual defrosting.

5.4 Segells de porta

Check the door seals regularly for damage or signs of wear. Clean them with clean water to ensure a tight seal, which is crucial for energy efficiency.

6. Solució De Problemes

• Sorolls inusuals: Some noises (e.g., gurgling, humming) are normal during operation. Ensure the appliance is level and not touching a wall or other furniture.
• Water on the bottom of the refrigerator: This is usually due to a blocked drain hole. Clean the drain hole with a small, soft tool.
