3. Configuració i primer ús

3.1 Desembalatge

Carefully remove the iron from its packaging. Remove any protective films or stickers from the soleplate or body of the iron. Retain the packaging for storage or future transport.

3.2 Abans del primer ús

It is normal for a slight odor or smoke to be emitted during the first few minutes of use. This is due to the heating of manufacturing residues and will quickly dissipate. To prepare the iron:

1. Fill the water tank as described in section 3.3.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Configuració de la temperatura

Always check the care label on your garment for ironing instructions. If unsure, test on an inconspicuous area first.

2. Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet (230V).
3. Turn the temperature control dial to the desired setting according to the fabric type. The pilot light will illuminate.
4. Wait for the pilot light to turn off, indicating the iron has reached the selected temperature. It will cycle on and off during ironing to maintain the temperature.

For dry ironing, ensure the steam control selector is set to the 'Dry Ironing' position (no steam symbol). Select the appropriate temperature and wait for the iron to heat up.

Steam ironing is suitable for most fabrics except delicate ones like silk or synthetic materials. Ensure the water tank is filled.

1. Set the temperature control dial to a steam-suitable setting (usually between two dots '••' and three dots '•••' or 'MAX'). The pilot light will illuminate.
2. Once the pilot light turns off, indicating the iron has reached temperature, move the steam control selector to the desired steam level.
3. Begin ironing. The iron will continuously emit steam at approximately 35g/min.

4.4 Steam Shot Function (125g)

The steam shot provides an extra burst of steam for stubborn creases. This function can be used during steam ironing or for vertical steaming.

• Ensure the iron is at a high temperature setting (three dots '•••' or 'MAX').
• Press the steam shot button firmly. Wait a few seconds between shots to allow the iron to reheat and build up steam.

4.5 Vapor vertical

The vertical steam function is ideal for removing creases from hanging garments, curtains, or drapes.

4.7 Automatic Shut-off System

For safety and energy saving, the iron is equipped with an automatic shut-off system. If the iron is left motionless:

• Horizontally on its soleplate: It will switch off after approximately 30 seconds.
• Vertically on its heel rest: It will switch off after approximately 8 minutes.

To reactivate the iron, simply move it. The pilot light will illuminate, and the iron will reheat to the selected temperature.

5.3 Anti-Calc / Self-Clean System

The iron features an automatic anti-calc system to reduce mineral buildup. For enhanced cleaning, use the self-clean function periodically (e.g., once a month, depending on water hardness).
